Large spacious home - beautiful, clean

Firstly, we hadn’t been told the heated pool would be covered and closed for season upon our September 30th arrival. The kids had been looking forward to it. Secondly, it would have been great if owner had given us heads up about radiant heat floor pipe that burst prior to our arrival. It caused a significant floor swelling between kitchen and great room. While a narrow table had been placed over part of this floor bump, it didn’t prevent two of us from nearly being taken down by the section that wasn’t covered. If we had been made aware of this problem prior to arrival, we might have chosen to stay elsewhere right from the beginning of our stay.

Unfortunately we had a pipe burst in the floor immediately prior to your arrival causing a bulge in the floor against the double sided fireplace. The foot long area was covered by a table and there was still a large and clear path to and from the rooms. We realize that not all people are understanding in situations like this. I was happy to offer you a full refund if you wished to find other accommodations but you declined. Our pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, which is clearly stated in our listing. The outside temperature when you arrived had a low of 45 and high of 63 degrees. It is unfortunate that a portion of your group was ill and unable to join you on your trip to the beautiful north fork.
