This place was very comfortable, and a great location, close to everything we needed. Check in/out was a breeze. Will keep this on our saved list for next time.
The house was well decorated and the tiny home park was a great experience. The Starfish had everything we needed for our family of five and was close to the beach and surrounding restaurants and shops. We would definitely go back.

The place was clean and good for the price. Very central located, to walkable distance of restaurants, grocery stores and more. Less than 10 minutes in car to the beach. The person ( Megan) that is listed as a contact never answered but when I called the Tiny House Vacation, Lanie was really nice and took care of everything.

Wasn’t as clean as I liked. Found a coffee cup in the cabinet that had dried coffee in the bottom and dishwasher was full of dishes that wasn’t put away from the last rental. I would have thought the cleaners would have put them away after they cleaned from the last rental. Amenities said it had a washer and dryer but there is a sign on the washer that says do not use
Overall good stay. It was clean and fresh, had all the necessary essentials. Only two downfalls were the noisy and loud AC unit and we could not use the washer. We had packed little clothes thinking we could use the washer. They did offer to wash & dry for us but was not convenient as we had to give a whole day's notice.
We were very surprised by the fresh cleaned smell upon walking in. Home was perfect for our stay and we would book here again if in Sarasota. It was stocked with the basics for cooking. Only item we found that could use improvement is the pull out sofa bed. Not comfortable at all. Conveniently located near stores and the beach!
We walked to the ice cream shop.
Great Place!! Thank you :)
So many things need updated! Mattress on bunk bed was very thin! Some horrible smell coming through the wall in room with bunk beds, Washer old , rusty and very noisy ! Towels are old and thin!
You should be aware:
Not handicap accessible. Both doors have steps and driveway is slanted at an angle making loading/uploading tricky for seniors. Bring your own food down to the salt & pepper. Host's condiments were noticeably ancient. Bring warm sleepwear as host wants home kept at 68° F. Our stay was 1 night.

Couldn’t stay.
The place was cute. The location was bad. Kinda wrong side of the tracks. The chemical cleaner smell caused our eyes to water and the infant we brought ( my grandson ) caused an allergic reaction. The furniture was so dirty we didn’t want to sit and the curtains unacceptably dirty. So we ultimately decided to leave. None of us could imagine sleeping there. Please check out the flea situation as well before renting it out again.
Big picture we had a great 2 months in the starfish house. We were able to walk to siesta key (about a 1 mile walk to crescent beach). The house is also extremely close to grocery and other stores. The property manager, Darren, was quick to respond when we had issues. My complaints are that the house is in a bit of disrepair (ex. Cabinet doors hanging, cabinet shelves not secure ).The whole house is in need of a deep clean. The bedding was very old and unraveling. Lastly, the house was poorly stocked with cooking supples (no baking dish (I left one). No colander (I left one) No blender, no can opened (I left one).
We had a one night stay to visit family and the home was clean, comfortable adn just what we needed. There were some minor maintenance issues which I relayed to the property manager to be rectified, and they communicated with me promptly. I wonderful little place, perfect for a family of 4.
Es un lugar muy bien hubicado cerca de todo fui con mi familia pasamos una noche y todo estaba bien tienen todo lo básico Siempre bien informados de todo lo de la casa El aire acondicionado si hace mucho ruido al cuarto principal pero demás está bien
The house itself was lovely and the perfect size. It happened to be very cold the week we stayed there and there wasn’t any heat for 4 days until the property manager had it fixed. Also the washing machine doesn’t drain. So we had to wring out our clothes by hand. Thankfully the dryer worked. One last thing…the blinds in the master bedroom we’re missing slats and there are two street lights outside the windows. There was no way to make that room dark.
