Welcome to Life's a Beach! Our home is semi oceanfront and less than 5 minute walk to the beach! It has 4 BR's and 2 Baths and TV's in all rooms. Live TV with sling . Netflix and other streaming available. Eat at the kitchen counter or at our family friendly dining room table. There is also a front porch with seating area. Great for family game nights! Board games , cards and more! Enjoy the inground pool and hot tub. New in 2026 we have made an outdoor living space under the house. Perfect when you need some shade or if the weather isn’t so great, you still have a place to go outside and hang out and have fun! There is an outdoor shower as well! Sit outside on the top deck and enjoy the ocean view, sounds and breeze! Barbecue at home or enjoy one of the local restaurants. We have made our home pet friendly so you don't have to leave your 4 legged kids at home! We have plenty of pool toys, pails and shovels for the kids! So pack your bags and head down to Life's a Beach for a great vacation!

We do not supply your linens or towels due to being pet friendly but we have a great company if you choose to rent them. Their website is hatterashelpinghands,com or call them directly 252-995-3390. We have recently updated a few things.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please raise or lower temperature to where it was when you arrived on the thermostat
Make sure hot tub is at the temperature. It was when you arrived.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Hi! We are Kathy and Steve from NJ. We visited the Outer Banks a few times and fell in love with it. So much so that we decided to purchase our own home down here. We are so happy to have made that dream a reality. We have named it Life's A Beach! because it really is in the Outer Banks!

Why they chose this property

The beach is beautiful and quiet. You are less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We offer so much to do whether its swimming in the pool or going in the hot tub to games for the kids and adults, beach toys, horseshoes and even foosball! Plenty of room on the upper deck to take in the view of the ocean and the ocean breeze. You can BBQ on the grill or take it local dining. If you are looking for a quiet fun place to enjoy with your family this is it!
