Lovely house. Close to restaurants and the center of town. Accurate description of the house which is spacious and well equipped. The rooftop terrace is lovely. Although not great if you don’t like steps!The host/owners are charming and very responsive.

We loved the convenience of the courtyard to store bikes, the large windows that brought in so much light, the comfortable beds and the very convenient location. The rooftop patio was a lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee and an evening unwind. Such lovely accommodation. Thanks for sharing!

AMAZING LOCATION IN CHARMING TOWN

Modern space in Tavira a few minutes walk from heart of town…many tourist sites, shops, great restaurants and cafes. The ferry to an amazing beach is also just 5 mins away from property. Beds were super comfortable and underground parking also included. Stayed three months and hosts were very responsive to any issues or requests.

Hosts were lovely, friendly and informative, only issue was we need to call as they did not reply to app messages or texts; worrying when we were at the airport, having been asked to text time of arrival!House location great, very central however it’s several years old and 0 had been spent on maintenance etc., pity as house design is great, also we had to leave cupboards open due to damp smells.All sounds negative, not meant to, just that some care and attention would bring dividends (suggest owners stay for a couple of days to experience this for themselves, in fact all owners should stay at their own rentals perhaps?).

Magical stay in Tavira

We enjoyed our stay in Tavira and loved our VRBO so much. We found it to be adorable and used everything it offered. The decor is light and airy, the bedrooms and bathrooms functional and comfortable, and we spent every evening sipping vino on the roof as the sun set. An added bonus is that, while there are many windows and doors to provide sunlight throughout the house, the bedrooms can be made to be completely dark and sound proofed, which we’ve found to be a rarity with short term rentals. We could walk to everything and there is a great restaurant right outside the house’s front door. We highly recommend this property.

GREAT place! Even for long term stay-lots of storage AND space. Primary is upstairs (luggage!) w/ great shower & 2 sinks; lots more storage. Bed comfy. Guest room decent w/ own bath but no natural light; just 2 of us, so didnt even use. Outdoor space is fabulous-roof deck great for morning yoga; good place for cocktails if not too hot-comfy furniture & umbrella. Chaise loungers if you want sun. Clothes washer (on roof) great; also a dryer, but didnt use. Front courtyard patio great for cool shade-metal cafe furniture tho. Living room sofa fits two tho not recliner style-but we hardly used. Didn't cook in the kitchen other than eggs but is well stocked w/ utensils, pans, electronics-really felt like home away from home-not just a rental. We did dine at the table for lunch salads or breakfast (croissants from La Baguette around the corner-another selling point!). AC worked fine. Location excellent-easy walk to square & really all restaurants. O'Castello next door was one of our faves-they make perfect ribeye & great fish & so friendly. Location on a busy street is not noisy, in the bedroom you can't hear a thing. Bring your own coffee, tea, shampoo, paper towels. Lidl is walkable (15 min?) if you don't have a big load, but home has a rolling grocery cart. No walking to a beach-we explored many by car. Parking is in underground garage a block away. Would love to come back for much longer stay than just 7 days. Owners friendly & helpful, glad they met us at checkin-great tips!

As an frequent flyer traveller jean-louis home is amazing. The home is spotless clean, There is private covered parking not far from his home.The interior space, kitchen appliances and bathroom utilities are all in perfect working condition and are modern in style. My wife and loved, there was a laundry room with not only a washing machine but a dryer as well. The location is close to all of Tavira central and the one of the best restaurants (O Castelo) is right next door to the property..to summarize on a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a 10, you would be lucky to stay there.
