Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Pros: Great location- nice street close to square. Lots of space. Host was very responsive and delivered needed items quickly upon contact. AC worked and hot water was plentiful. Appliances worked. Linens and towels were clean. Cons: The couch bed mattress was not in good condition. The back balconies shown on the listing had rotting wood and were likely unsafe to use- outdoor areas were dirty. Plumbing with toilets was slow. Lots of air fresheners which may be an issue if you’re sensitive to smell. Older showers. Overall not a good choice if you’re a clean freak or sensitive to smell. If you need space in a great location but aren’t too sensitive - may be a good house for you.
Location was great and property manager was helpful and responsive. The interior of the home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The exterior (yard/decks) could use some TLC. It was too hot to use the exterior amenities, but feel that others might enjoy when the weather is cooler. Overall good stay.
Easy walk to downtown. Lots of space. Three bedrooms are upstairs plus 2 extra rooms. Main bedroom with bathroom plus extra bath on main level. We were a party of 8 plus 1 toddler and had plenty of space. Nice backyard with fire pit. Would stay here again. Good, easy and fast communication with host. Thanks!
Great location for anything in St Augustine. Neighborhood was quiet. House is roomy and well arranged but shows wear and tear. Minor cosmetic things only.
This 4 bedroom house was just what we were looking for. It was the perfect amount of space for our group of friends. We were attending a wedding downtown, so the location was spot on for what we needed. Ashish was a great host and always responded to my questions! :)
House looks great, however a few things fell short. Not enough linens, 5 towels for a place that sleeps up to 10 is not enough. No Xtra sheets anywhere. There were no Xtra garbage bags on site.
This house was the dirtiest rental we have ever stayed in. When walking in, you smell the mildew. One upstairs bedroom had huge moisture spots on the carpet. The upstairs shower had black mold. The kitchen drinking glasses had a plaque of white mold growing on the rim. All of the rugs, including the bathroom ones, were damp. At least half of the light bulbs were out. The oven was completely broken, even after trying the circuit breaker. That was disappointing to find out at 9pm when we went to first use the oven. Multiple chairs were broken. The couches were at least comfortable. There were two stray cats that would park themselves on the porch and kept coming inside, and one scratched our little girl when she tried to get it outside. We stay in the lincolnville neighborhood every year to have a walking distance stay close to downtown for nights of lights. We have stayed in many charming older homes here, and expect the older houses will have some issues. This particular house was very uncomfortable. The worst part was communication with the owner. We stayed two nights, and I brought the issues to his attention when I could. We have two small children and busy schedules so I couldn’t tell him everything right away. He claims I should have told him about the oven sooner so he could have tried to get a repair man in or move us to another unit. I explained we didn’t try the oven until that night but he ignored our concern. Traveling with young children is already difficult with all the items they need, packing up to move to another unit would have been extremely disturbing to us. As would letting repair people in during our short two nights stay. When we asked for a partial refund to at least cover the cost of our take out food we had to get due to no oven, he claimed because he allowed us to check in an hour early that we should be grateful. Tbt oven wasn’t too big of a deal, it was the gaslighting and rudeness of the owner that is disturbing. He also said they had a new cleaning crew so was blaming them for the grossness of the house, and claimed when they came after us that they didn’t find mold. I wish I would have taken more pictures for proof, but I do have one of the mold. I would highly recommend finding other accommodations and especially not booking with this particular owner again.

Contrary to what the guest has written, the property is in impeccable condition, as evidenced by all the prior reviews. This is the classic case of a grifter, trying to extort a rebate from the owner. She began by demanding an early check-in, which we easily accommodated. Ten hours before checking out, she tells us that the property is dirty and needs a rebate. Having been doing this for several years, we tell her that the cleaning team will take a look at it and attempt to validate her theories. As a point of note, she sent not a single picture providing her proof points. In the meantime, check out was supposed to be at 11am, and iher car was still in the driveway at 4pm the date of the checkout. The cleaning crew was intimidatied to enter the property and had to wait till 4pm. People such as these should be banned from the platform as they give short term rentals a terrible name .
What a lovely home! Spotless! It was centrally located, We were able to walk downtown to all shops and restaurants. I won't hesitate to stay there again when i'm in Saint Augustine. Great place and it made for a perfect weekend.

Owner was amazing...super communicative the whole time. Backyard was best feature by far! Pictures are a little deceiving but overall a great house to spend a long weekend with friends! Literally 15 minute walk to all that downtown has to offer!!
Great location and close to everything. A short walk and you are in the heart of the town. Very roomy and spaced out well to accommodate our group of 8. If you are seeking some quiet, be warned of college residents in the area that are up at all hours. We encountered a rave party next door our second night with many, many students in the streets and walking along our rental and next door where there is little room in between.
Our stay here was fantastic for our bachelorette party trip! The house has plenty of space and was extremely comfortable! Home away from home! We had a few feedback suggestions: definitely could have more convenience accommodations such as coffee creamer and condiments. We ran out of toilet paper half way through our stay so I would say they could stock up on that for sure ! These little things would just make the stay absolutely perfect, but overall our stay was fantastic !
Great historical neighborhood with quiet shaded streets to walk, less than 12 minute walk downtown, 3 minute drive and about 15 minute drive to the beach. House is spacious with Master downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Owners Ashish and Kim were extremely quick to respond to minor issues we had—very accommodating . So much to do in St. Augustine from shopping, great places to eat, and tram rides with drivers who tell you all sorts of historical info about this wonderful city. Several beaches are very close-by, a winery, distillery, all sorts of museums, ghost walks and of course good people watching while eating yummy ice cream. This is our third trip to St. Augustine and we will be back!
