Gite in Montret

The holiday rental is located in Montret, a village in Saône-et-Loire, near the Jura and Ain regions. <br>Just 10 km from Louhans—a town known for its 15th-century arcades and its Monday market—we have flyers available to help you make your choice. Many local producers are also nearby; at the VIENNETTE farm (in Montret), you’ll find, Monday through Friday, snails and Bresse chicken, honey, and many other seasonal local delicacies, as well as craft beer, and even soaps and cosmetics made with organic donkey milk… so don’t forget your coolers! 🙂<br>The Montret Farmers’ Market is held on the first Wednesday of every month (with a winter break depending on the year).<br>In Montret, you’ll find a bakery (open Tuesday through Sunday mornings), a supermarket, a tobacco shop/newsstand, a pharmacy, and a restaurant.<br><br>The guesthouse is part of an old Bresse farmhouse; we occupy the rest of the property, and our offices are in the section attached to the guesthouse.<br>As shown in the photo, you have a private pedestrian entrance; the car park is located on the other side in the courtyard (the farmhouse is situated in the corner).<br>The guesthouse is a bit off the beaten track from the village centre and very quiet—I used to live in Paris. <br>However, we do have neighbors who have cats, dogs, horses, and a cockerel, who crows when the hens lay eggs...<br><br>See you soon!
