Our party was made up of 2 families - a 5 and a 3, with teenagers who take up lots of space and this was perfect for us. Lovely location, about a 30 minute walk to the Cathedral. We really appreciated the excellent communal spaces - livingroom, dining room and outside spaces - where we could hang out and eat together. Highly recommended.

A beautiful house in an ideal location!We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and perfect for two families. It was a lovely place to come home to after exploring and enjoying all the adventures the area has to offer.The house is very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden.There is one private parking space at the house, and there is plenty of additional parking available on the street, although street parking is paid.Communication with Uta was quick, friendly and pleasant throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this house and would happily stay here again!

The property has all the equipment anyone would need. It is in a beautiful area. Just up the road there are many woodland trails. Down the road you can reach the Altstadt in 25-30 minutes. Great place for a family or large party to stay on edge of the Black Forest.

Our family really enjoyed the villa as it was beautiful and in a great neighborhood. We had rental cars and were able to use the driveway to park. The street parking is free at nights and on weekends. We also went on walks near the house and felt very safe. We didn't have time to bike, but there are several bikes that you could use since Freiburg is very bike-friendly and green.We all had plenty of space in the house, and it definitely helped to have 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen was also fully stocked so that made having family meals much easier. There was able a high chair and a crib for the kids. Washer and dryer also made the stay much easier with kids.We were lucky enough to miss the heatwave, so it was really nice and breezy at night. Another fan or two might be needed since there's no air con - something to keep in mind for travelers in the summer. Overall, I recommend this property and would love to stay here again next time we visit Freiburg!

dankesehr für die Rückmeldung - es gibt Ventilatoren im Waschraum zur freien Verfügung, aber wir werden 2 weitere organisieren und zusätzlich 1 mobiles Klimagerät installieren, es steht schon hier und wird Ende August ins Haus gebracht - in der Regel wird das in deutschen Sommern nicht benötigt, aber um Spitzen abzufangen ist das sinnvoll, vielen Dank für die umfassende Rückmeldung Victor. viele Grüße Uta

Amazing location. The bikes were a super nice touch!!! You are close to the Black Forest and cycling into town only takes 5 minutes. The house was lovely, we were so lucky to have all the flowers in bloom during the stay. Would really recommend!

We couldn’t imagine how the house could be as beautiful as the photos- but it was even lovelier than we expected. We felt like royalty!Plenty of room to host our local guests and an easy walk to the Stadtpark and Altstadt.Communication with our host was excellent- we hope to return one day!

Beautiful home in Freiburg

We had a great stay at Ute’s house. It’s a short walk to the local neighborhood restaurants and cafes and about 25 min walk to the Freiburg Cathedral. The house is very spacious and has everything you could need.

Fantastic House, wonderful location

We had 8 adults comfortably stay in this house. The social areas are large and there are plenty of facilities to cover all our dining plans. The location allowed us to take day trips easily and was within a short distance of shops. Fantastically presented, with enough trust and freedom from the host to use as we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat and we were all thoroughly sad our stay here came to an end.

A week in Freiburg

Fantastic house and perfect for our week. We had 80 old grandparent so no trekking or mountain biking, but instead trips into Alsace, wine tasting (kids went to Europa Park) and fun exploring Freiburg. Communication was great, bikes available if we wanted them, could not have wished for better.

Family Gathering

We are 3 families with 3under 2 years old. The blue house was ideal to come together and celebrate birthdays. A very pleasant walk into the Aldstad too. Lots to do and many places to eat. The house had everything we could need for our short break.
