Home away from Home.. Absolutely beautiful!!

Absolutely beautiful views, very clean, beautiful decor, beds are comfortable.. the only issue is that both of the jacuzzi tubs on the main floor were not working. One of the tubs water sprayed out of the jets with little black bugs came out of the jets. I’m sure it’s an easy fix!! We enjoyed our time. The kids enjoyed the games.. May options and we all loved the theater room. Also.. this is one of the best cabins we have stayed in anytime we have been to the mountains.

Details are in the Reviews!!!

The view was as described. Very nice. The house is very dated but they offer what you need in the kitchen. The grill works. The theater did not work. Had service come out and they could not get it fixed. They wanted to send another service person out and I declined to have other service folks in. Until the next day when the WiFi was having issues. The master bathroom was dirty. The towels they give you are cheap and warn as if you stayed at a 3 star hotel. The mattresses were old and soft. There were not enough blankets for a family of 5. The hot tub worked fine but it’s missing the head rests. They gave you 1 extra garbage bag for your entire stay. They definitely raised their daily prices 4 times the avg daily rate for this time frame - they did not offer 4 times the value. Even at their daily avg rate - the value is not their for this property. Most of the furniture such as couches, chairs and mattresses really need to be updated. I’ve stayed at other mountain homes in the area with similar views for 2/3rds less and much better value. They have not offered any discount for the theater not working - they just expect they can keep sending service people out on their timeline without a text notification they are coming. They just show up during dinner or while you are trying to enjoy your family time or when ever they want. I would say that both the service company and the owner need to step up their game to provide good value. The email communication is very poor. Long delays in response. Also VRBO has the wrong service number posted on the listing. The poor guy who gets these phone calls all the time is frustrated as well because he can’t get ahold of anyone to change the number to the correct one. We left a day early - just wasn’t worth staying from the full reservation. Choose your stay wisely.
