Quaint, clean place to stay. Enjoyed our time there. Close to many businesses. Only downfall was noise in apartment above - which was livable just annoying at 3 AM and is not the fault of the VRBO owner as it appeared the units are owned by different folks.

Spacious and comfortable

The property was well kept and had everything required from plates and silverware to pantry space to closet space. All of the rooms didn’t feel crowded at all even with the big beds. Getting in and out of the property was very easy. Overall has a great time and spent a good amount of time in the living room. Thanks for allowing us to stay at this awesome property.

Friends' baseball trip. Go Cards!

House was very unique and amazing. Plenty of bedrooms, large kitchen and living area. The neighborhood was quiet with a lot of restaurants nearby and quick walk to public transportation. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond.

6 of us stayed in this very spacious and modern 4 bedroom basement apartment. Great kitchen and 2 lovely bathrooms and 3 couches ( futons ) made for fun family gathering place. And there are tons of games! Delightful for our game- loving group. We also enjoyed the sunny street level enclosed courtyard, with cafe tables for reading or laptop time.Awesome walkable location was very important to us; stores and restaurants, close to lake, close to houses of worship, super convenient. And a laundry room for that emergency load of clothes for the weekend. Clean. Cozy. Cool enough and warm enough. We would rent it again.

Sibling gathering

The 5 siblings and our spouses gathered for the weekend to honor our mothers request to “don’t lose each other”! We are mostly retired and loved walking along the lakeshore and exploring the zoo. This is a great house for group gatherings with plenty of comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for helping us create memories

Great Place to Stay

This place was exactly what we needed for our large family group. Plenty of space and beds. Great neighborhood and location to all things Chicago. Host was great. It was nice to have a garage spot, just be aware, your car can't be bigger than a small SUV to fit in it, thankfully one of our 2 cars fit. We were there during spring break, so extra parking was a bit tricky because of that. Honestly this place was near perfect in so many ways, our only slight negative would be that a couple of the beds weren't very comfortable, but we would still totally stay here again!

Will was a great host. Everything was good. The only reason for a 4 star is because we were charged for something we dint break. $300 was claimed for a handle broken. The numbers dint add up.

Overall, this was a great value and we would stay here again. Location was INCREDIBLE. We were able to use public transit for most of our stay (15 minute walk to subway). Felt safe walking to local eateries with children in tow. Mattresses and general cleanliness were somewhat lacking. Wonderful gathering space in combined kitchen/living room. Plenty of space and supplies (towels/dishes/soaps/pillows) to accomodate us for a week. Did get some noise from upstairs neighbors, as expected. Garage parking fit our Kia Sedona van. Owner responded very quickly and thoroughly to issue we had with a door lock. Simple checkout process.

Perfect for family groups

We loved, loved staying here. It had plenty of room for children to sit on the floor and play, as well as for our little one to safely crawl about. We could all watch movies on the big screen TV in comfortable furniture, and play board games right next to the kitchen area, which was very convenient. It was quiet so all of us got a good nights sleep. The area was safe, so we had no qualms about walking to Walgreens or any of the gazillion eating places nearby. We were able to get Lyft rides very quickly. The house had many decorating touches to make us feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. We enjoyed our stay very much with no complaints. Having a washer and dryer available was very helpful. Host replied to questions very quickly. Wonderful stay!

Loved the numerous bedding options and the kitchen stocked generously with spices, coffee filters, and basic laundry supplies. Easy to clean up after ourselves with cleaning products as needed. Only complaint is the noise from upstairs neighbors having a great party on Friday night and dancing over our heads. Very loud! Felt like the neighbor from Friends needing a broomstick. But we made friends with them and it was a pre-wedding party. Just FYI if you are under a party, it can be very loud.
