Gîte near hiking trails, sleeps 12, authenticity, calm, fresh air

The apartment is located on an entire façade of an old renovated farmhouse which is located at altitude (about 900m), close to the high stubble and hiking trails, 5 km from the lake of Longemer and 10 km from Gérardmer where you can enjoy swimming, sailing, windsurfing, ..., the swimming pool in summer. A large natural area surrounds the house which dominates the valley of the Grand Valtin. The cottage is located near Alsace, with its medieval castles such as the Haut Koenigsbourg and its Christmas markets. The Vosges ridges are very close by with their many hiking trails and their panoramas of mountain lakes such as Xonrupt and Gérardmer. A ski slope just in front of the house, 500 m away, on the opposite slope, allows you to practice sledging without moving. The cottage for 12 people includes a kitchen, a large living room, two bathrooms, two toilets and 6 spacious bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor and 4 upstairs (2 are on the mezzanine). Fully equipped, the accommodation is equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment and all the crockery without forgetting the raclette ovens of course!<br>Remember to come in winter with winter or 4-season tyres (with sipes)! The gîte is well located in the mountains at an altitude of 920 m, so there is sometimes a little snow on the road and this equipment is mandatory from November 1 to April 30 since 2022.
