It was a lovely property in an ideal location for our large group. Helen was very helpful and accommodating with our check in and check out time and replied promptly to any messages sent to her regarding our stay. Would definitely stay again.
The house was great. Big common areas that fit us all (2 families of 5). The perfect about of rooms and bathrooms. Great location for all out excursions.
This property is great for large groups. You would need a car to access but it is in a great location. Beautiful views all around the property.

We had a wonderful family Christmas break in this lovely house. Space and views were fantastic, everything was great in the house. Host was very responsive and welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Local amenities were great- visited Kilmacthomas (good big centra in the pretty village); Mayfield Birds of Pray sanctuary (great for all the family); the greenway path, Mahon falls, coachhouse restaurant, beautiful beaches, cosy Dungarvan pubs- highly recommend:) we’ll be back
We had a fantastic weekend. Great house to get extended family all in the one spot. Helen is a lovely host and is always at the end of the phone. We would all definitely stay again 😍.
Helen was a wonderful host. She was very responsive to any questions / issues that arose. Our family really enjoyed the property and seeing the cows and donkey in the yard next door. The house was spacious and and allowed our 12-person group to spread out. The house was in a great location for our plans to explore Waterford and Kilkenny.
Spacious ,well equipped for large group inside and garden ares.Views of Comeragh mountains just beautiful. Host Helen very helpful ,friendly and available if needed. All in all it was fanstic.
We were very impressed with the size and location of the property. It was exactly what we needed and hoped for. The owners were available if needed but left us to our own devices. Plenty of space for everyone. Wonderful area and plenty to do for everyone. Great local facilities a couple of miles away.
We had a great time as a family of 14 staying in this house to bring in the new year together. The house is a great size with really spacious bedrooms. There are stunning views of the Comeragh mountains. Helen was really nice and helpful to deal with and accommodated us with an early check in. We will definitely look at booking this property again.
Stayed for 3 days as a family of 12.
House was easy to find and in a great location close to attractions and a green way. Helen & David where fantastic to deal with, give recommendations for restaurants and places to go.
House was good a size with fantastic views from the living area. They have a great games room that provided entertainment for the kids in the evening. Overall a nice break and stay.
The property is in a stunning location overlooking the mountains, a short drive to the pretty village of Kilmacthomas. There were ten adults in our party, for a family reunion. Games room well stocked, plenty of room and space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, the host, Helen, was very communicative and we have no complaints in any respect,. Looking forward to our next stay.
Helen was excellent to deal with and so was David who popped in to see everything was ok. We were a large family group ranging from 4 yrs to 72 yrs! The property was the perfect size to accommodate us all . The views of the Comeragh mountains were fabulous and we enjoyed a family walk to the Mahon Falls . We also found it easy to get to local Beaches Bunmahom was particularly lovely. Would definitely recommend it for large family gatherings . Thanks for bringing the BBQ David !
We had a great few days catching up with our grandchildren and cousins being able to pick up where they left off last time. The house was perfect for us all.. my sons spent time exploring the local countryside and the children enjoyed finding new hiding places for hide and seek. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed exploring in Tramore, Clonea beach and a small section of the greenway. Hoping to return sometime soon
We had a wonderful time in Waterford/Cork with this house serving as our home base. It was clean and large enough to accommodate all of us. The kitchen is well equipped and common spaces are large and comfortable, perfect for sharing time and meals together. The neighborhood is very quiet. Helen responded quickly to our questions and was a warm and gracious host. The mattresses in bedroom #2 were uncomfortable but there were no complaints about the other rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to anyone traveling in this part of Ireland.
Great house with a wonderful view of the mountains in the distance
