About the host
Hosted by Els Leen
We are a Dutch family of 5. Tony works for KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) and I work as a primary school teacher. We love to go to Ireland during our holidays to relax and to enjoy the house and the scenery. We therefore like to offer others the opportunity to share and love our house and to experience the beauty of the Nire!
Why they chose this property
In 1994 we visited the Nire Valley for the first time and we instantly fell in love with this part of Ireland. The cottage came for sale and 6 months later we were the proud owners of this beautiful gem. Over the years , we have been renovating and upgrading the house to modern standards without losing any of its charms. We like others to experience the magic of our "thatch"!
What makes this property unique
The tradional cottage style is kept, but it offers all modern amenities. Everything you will need is there. Together with the quiet surroundings, it will offer you a relaxed holiday feel!
