Nearby, the Place des Grands Hommes, a neoclassical quarter, reflects the new urban vision that emerged after the French Revolution.

🚗 PARKING
From Mérignac Airport: Take tram A or bus 1 to Gambetta Mériadeck, then walk approximately 12 minutes.
From Gare Saint-Jean: Take tram C to the Quinconces stop, then walk approximately 4 minutes.
Street parking is free from 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM, as well as on Sundays and public holidays.
The ""Clémenceau-Auditorium"" public car park is located 50 metres from the apartment (paid parking).

Warn potential renters of no elevator

Reasonable property--but on the fourth floor (72 steps) with no elevator. My friend and I are both 86 years old with knee problems, but we cope. Had we known that this accommodation was on (US) floor 4 with no elevator, we would never have rented it. We arrived, having flown all night from California to CDG, took the train to Bordeaux and a taxi to our apartment, only to be faced with having to climb to floor 4.

Too many stairs

Loved the location and clean apartment. However we were supposed to be located on the second floor because of hip issues, however we were on the 4th floor and had 70 steps to climb. Management had no alternative accommodations. We were asked to compost but not provided with garbage or containers to compost items. Living room area small for 3 people as well only a love seat for 2 people. Bar stools too high for seniors to sit. Bedroom size good but pullout sofa bed very uncomfortable. Ok for 1 night stay but we were there 5 nights.
