I want to say thank you for the owners for let us in the property is excellent the view is amazing and surroundings beautiful I usually complain about some stay but this time everything was perfect location, cleanliness, and silence that's we needed it we definitely come back
Beautiful home. Extremely clean and loved open feel of the house. Great location for easy day trips to beaches, picture rock park, Soo lockes, and falls.
This stay was absolutely amazing! I just got done drinking coffee in my jammies along Lake Superior. This morning i saw a myganser, juvenilee eagle, a couple of sea gulls, two loons, and a momma wood duck with her babies. The solitude and serenity you experience here is unmatched. And who doesn't love a HUGE kitchen. We cooked every night with the windows open listening to the waves. The Paradise area is quaint and friendly. Barb's Beach (in the welcome binder) feels like your own private beach. It was so unbelievable feeling the breeze and just letting time pass while we enjoyed looking for agates and yooperlites. If you're looking for a true retreat, book this place.
This was a great place to stay. We were able to do as much as we wanted, and relax as much as we wanted to.
Would definitely book this property again!!
Comfy, cozy, clean great place to bring your family.
Great central location to explore all the local attractions.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
The view was great. The house was bigger than expected. Has a great kitchen and had everything we needed. We didn't want to leave and would definitely stay again.
What a cute property, the kitchen was amazing for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The fire pit was a bonus!! The views were top notch. I would definitely stay here again. Our family enjoyed it so much!!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The place as very clean and exactly as advertised. It has wonderful lake views and is very close to town. The kitchen is huge and the living area was very comfy. The hosts were very friendly and responsive in all communications. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
We were greatly surprised by the seclusion and vastness of the area. The photos on Vrbo do not properly represent this remodeled property! I suggest the owners update the gallery. There ARE window treatments in the bedrooms and the owners have created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated the welcome book with its suggestions and recommendations for local fare. If y'all are driving up, and plan on cooking, (the kitchen is wonderful and fully equipped) bring your own food as the one and only grocery is expensive... for example, 3.99 for two sticks of butter! 17.00 for a bottle of cheap wine. 8.00 for a half gallon of Blue Bunny ice cream. White Fish Point and the Shipwreck Museum are a MUST. However, souvenirs are less expensive at Tahquamenon Falls, which is also amazing! Be prepared to do a LOT of walking at the falls. We enjoyed lunch at the falls in their Brewery restaurant which is moderately priced. Their fish (Lake Superior Trout) and chips are quite tasty. Another awesome place to take in are the Soo Locks, which are an hour northeast. We had a blast visiting the UP and absorbing the history and culture. Oh -- bring insect repellant and Benadryl, the mosquitoes are huge and plentiful.
It was a spacious and comfortable home. The view of Whitefish Bay/ Lake Superior is wonderful. The property owners were easy to contact and were quick to respond.
Located close to both Taquamenon falls and whitefish point. Only issue is that the entry key pad is impossible to find in daylight, let alone a rainstorm at night, and the owner was difficult to reach to help resolve. Once resolved, everything was fine.
Picturesque location right on Whitefish Bay; what a lovely getaway in the woods. House is well-stocked and roomy and comfortable. Owner was very responsive. Would stay again.
This house was exactly as advertised with fully stocked kitchen, fans in each of the bedrooms (it was a very warm week in September) and a beautiful view of Lake Superior and stunning sunrises every morning. The information provided for the area was very helpful. The Paradise Food Pantry Market had a decent selection of groceries even though we brought most of our own food to cook.
Very comfortable, clean and spacious home. Washer and dryer a big plus! Its so quiet and peaceful, you just hear the birds, the wind blowing thru the trees, and The Lake. Best view of Lake Superior right out front!! One of the nicest homes we've stayed at. Relatively close to all the big attractions of the U.P. As we kept saying, "there is always a view!!"
This is perhaps the best rentals at which we've stayed (and there have been a lot)! Clean and well maintained and well stocked! Says it sleeps 6, and there are pans and dishware to make dinner for six...didn't need the big pot I brought! We will recommend to our family & friends. Thanks for sharing your fantastic property with us 😀 It was just the escape we needed!
Lovely clean home with all amenities. Centrally located to Mackinac , st Ignace , Sault st Marie . Lake view and fire ring makes for a very nice evening. Eat in and have everything you need including a gas grill! Beautifully decorated and comfortable . Loved our stay! Gracious hosts!
We spent a few days at this house while exploring the eastern UP. Nice house. Clean. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet location. Great views of the lake
This place was as advertised and the owner was great to deal with. I’d stay here again.
