Great location for our itinerary. Very clean and easy to get to. Paul checked on us and asked if he could do anything to make the stay better. I’d definitely consider staying again.
We had the best time at Paul’s place. It was very clean, the bed were very comfortable, the cabin had everything in the kitchen we needed. We enjoyed using the fire pit and watching the lake, it was so relaxing. Centrally located to all the places to visit in the UP.
Amazing place with an amazing host! House was clean and cozy with enough space to have “your space” when traveling with a group. Everything you need for an awesome trip full of memories is at your fingertips…..even Lake Superior! We rented this property as a home base and it was just the right amount of travel time to Whitefish Point (8min) Newberry (42min), Munising (90min) and Grand Marais (90min). Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us!! We will be returning!

Disappointed
Location was good, but the shared property was not. We did not know it was attached to the homeowner's home. They were at their house and we did not feel as though there was any privacy. We were on vacation to be alone on the property. We had just come from a wonderful place and this was the same price, for much less. We have stayed in cheap motels that were better, at least you knew the space was shared. Expensive for what it is.
We had a very nice time. Property was very clean and fit our group well. If we were to find anything negative it would be that there is virtually no beach. Big boulders instead. But it didn't stop my grandson from climbing down and getting in the water. Also we were not aware that the property owner lived in the other half of the house. (connected by a breezeway). But they were very unobtrusive. It was easy to forget they were there. All in all a great time. Would be happy to go back.

No service
There was no internet service at all. The tv had no cable and could only watch two channels. Absolutely no where to eat or a grocery store for several miles. Really need to communicate this so people know to find a grocery store before they get there.

I am at somewhat of a loss to these comments. There are 3 stores in town. A IGA and 2 gas stations that have large food selections. This is a small tourist town so prices are higher and there are no big box stores but you said there were none. There are 2 restaurants in town. One of them was closed as the time of your stay is off season but the Wheel House Restaurant is breakfast, lunch and dinner with very good food,, and like the stores is exactly 1 mile from the cottage..
Our TV has Ruko as well as a DVD player.
Our wireless internet is MI-FI by Verizon and works well the password is posted on the refrigerator. At times it does need to be rebooted.
I made a attempt to ask you how things were going through VRBO which we always do. You did not respond. Our phone number is posted with check in instructions on refrigerator. We live right next door and could have easily made your stay much nicer.
We are so very sorry that your stay wasn't better.

This home had everything we could hope for and more! The most comfortable beds...plenty of comfortable seating in the living room too! The view is gorgeous with great rock hunting spots nearby!
We played cards, lounged, took in the colors...the shipwreck museum, local grocery, and my favorite spot on the bench down by the water.
Thanks for a wonderful experience, the host was so attentive and accommodating going through a lot of trouble to help us find the house in the middle of the night when we arrived late! Thank you!
The cabin has everything you’d need. All kitchen items, keurig and a 12 cup regular pot, all dinner and drinkware. Pots pans, toaster, crockpot, you name it! Full washer and dryer. Very spacious and comfortable. I’m a clean freak and this cabin was very clean! Smelled great and has nice little touches such as hand soaps and lotions. Back yard is WONDERFUL! Bench and a picnic table at a fire pit and it’s right on the water. It was a perfect get away for our anniversary trip. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the tv does not come in at all. We had a bit of rain for a bit during our stay and the hubs wanted to watch a little football, but tv didn’t come in at all, kept cutting out and freezing. We have AT&T for phone service and didn’t have any issues with service at all. Closed in back patio was very nice as well. Towels and bedding all clean and plush. Thanks so much for a super clean and very easy get away for us. We looked forward to this trip and your cabin helped make it comfortable. Thank you!
Great views, clean property with everything you need.
Very nice place to stay, kitchen full of anything needed, clean comfortable bedding, with no issues at all . Very close to the snowmobile trails and plenty of parking for truck and trailer.
The cabin had enough parking to accommodate two trucks and trailers. It was clean and slept 4 guys with no problems. We would definitely rent this cabin again to enjoy the snow in Paradise.
