Farmhouse in the heart of the Cévennes National Park

The hamlet of Le Pouget, is located in the heart of the Cevennes National Park, it is a hamlet of old stone restored over the years.

Jules' house is a large family home. It is composed of a large dining room (ideal for large tables) and kitchen, with direct access to the terrace, a large living room with a wood stove, a second living room, a table football and a second dining area as well as 7 bedrooms.
Outside, you will find a large terrace with a view of Mont Lozère, the latter is composed of 2 large tables, garden furniture, benches, parasols and plancha. Important details: the stairs are old and irregular, the terrace area is not very "flat"... those that make the charm of yesteryear.

The cottage can accommodate up to 16 people (depending on the season).

In the hamlet, you will find a spring water basin, to be shared with the other gîtes. It has also been home to a micro-farm project since 2018. Permaculture market gardening terraces, a few sheep and a few chickens make the environment lively and inhabited although you have the feeling of being "at the end of the world".

In short, it is an ideal destination for lovers of activities in the middle of nature, jogging, canyoning, cross-country skiing, mountain biking... Also for lovers of calm and relaxation, for those who want to take a complete break from the city landmarks.

The hamlet of Le Pouget is located 3km from Villefort and its shops, and 5km from the lake of Villefort (hike possible from the hamlet).

From the beginning of October to the end of May, you will add €30 in heating costs per night.
