Everything we Wanted

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect property for two. Plenty of wildlife to see on the river at the end of the garden and all essentials within walking distance. We also enjoyed the beautiful beaches about a 30 minute drive away. We received a very warm welcome from our generous and charming host who provided everything we needed throughout our stay.

Gîte bien équipé à la décoration soignée, le jardin donnant sur le Lay est forcément un gros plus ! Emplacement idéal pour cette semaine entre repos, visite du marais poitevin, balades, restaurants, sans oublier la guinguette à 10min à pied du logement !En plus de cela, Christine la propriétaire est très accueillante et attentionnée ! Nous le recommanderons à nos proches sans hésitation !

Das Haus, welches zur Straßenseite hin völlig unscheinbar ist, entpuppt sich im Inneren und im rückwärtigen Garten als kleines Juwel. Genial ist auch ein kleiner Wintergarten, von dem man ins Grüne blicken kann, wenn das Wetter einmal etwas schlechter sein sollte. Pluspunkt ist ein fußläufig erreichbarer Bäcker (gegenüber dem Rathaus), der ein phantastisches Baguette anbietet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Diese Unterkunft gehört definitiv in unsere Favoritenliste.

Très jolie maison bien rénovée avec des matériaux de qualité, on s'y sent comme chez soi, de plus, le jardin est très agréable. Commerces essentiels à proximité. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Mareuil.Christine est adorable, et de bons conseils dans les visites à faire aux alentours.

Ein sehr schöner ruhiger Platz

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt in dieser gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft. Im Garten konnten wir die Seele am Ufer des Lay baumeln lassen. In der Umgebung haben wir schöne Wanderungen gemacht. Da es wenig Möglichkeiten zur Einkehr im Ort gibt, war es gut, dass wir uns selbst verpflegen konnten. Es ist allerdings gut mit dem Auto anzureisen um mobil zu sein. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut.

Warm welkomst met zelfgemaakte jam en brioche brood. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Tuin aan het water en bakker op loopafstand! Op 45 min rijden van de kust en La Rochelle. Ile de Re op 1 uur. Zeer de moeite waard!
