Well-appointed kitchen and open concept living and dining space make for lovely family gatherings, reunions, work from home, etc. Conveniently off of the living room space is a half bath. Enjoy the large family living room with Flat Screen TV.
Check-in code will be provided 30 mins before check in, and I'd be happy to provide you with our favorite dining and excursion recommendations here in DC. Hosting with heart, I hope our home will make your stay a memorable.
Our home is PRO CLEANED with you in mind - Maintaining TOP Cleanliness standards and our eco-friendly approach are always a priority - we ask for your partnership in this endeavor as you book a reservation. Late checkouts can be accommodated with early request and fees to apply. Wash & Fold Laundry service available by pound with a minimum. Please inquire.

1- Explore Ethiopian breakfast next door at the frequented Buna Coffeehouse, and relax in their urban patio space as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Neighborhood eats such as Timber Pizza, El Torogoz, Little Coco's, Cinder BBQ, Slash Run, and more!
Dig in to the delicious fare at these family-run spots in elegantly rehabbed brick townhouses. The food and service are impeccable.
2- Say ‘om’ at Yoga District:
Located just a few blocks from the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro and across from Safeway, this bright DC yoga studio welcomes all, this serene-yet-urban yoga studio offers daily classes and drop-in rates. The roster ranges from challenging flow sessions to easy-enough-for-newbies restorative classes.
3- Visit the Saturday Petworth Community Market:
One of the liveliest farmers’ markets in the city takes place on the paved, area between 9th St NW and Upshur, every Saturday morning from May through November from 9am-1pm. Expect baked goods, cheese, produce and snacks like sandwiches or pork buns. Live music ups the appeal.
4- Grab a cold one at neighborhood bars
Choose from Capitol Ciderhouse, Hook Hall, The Midlands, ANXO, and Takoda Restaurant & Beer Garden to name a few. All are located steps away from the flat.
6- Rent a bike and explore Rock Creek Park
There are "Capital Bikeshare" stations conveniently all around the city and neighborhood. It’s a great location to grab two wheels and ride into DC’s stunning urban green space and Rock Creek Park.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Consolidate contents of all bathroom and kitchen trash (check coffee machines please) into kitchen bag, gather recycling, and take both out per Welcome Card instructions.
Gather all used BATH / hand towels and place into a hamper in master bathroom.
Gather all kitchen towels and placemats, shake debris into trash and put in the hand towels bucket in kitchen.
Check all drawers, nightstands, and closets, kitchen, for all personal belongings.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
