This was our second time staying at The Snapper Shack. It is a lovely place to stay. My children loved the house and hot tub. My dog loved the yard to play in. Our host was kind and helpful. It is close to the beach and is a well kept house. The only negative was (not the fault of our host) a neighbor living very close by smoked marijuana outside every evening. The smell was pretty strong.

Amazing little house

Easy to find right in town.Best part is the hot tub and back yard. Nice little bedrooms with comfy beds feels like home. Host are super quick with responding and had everything we needed for our stay.

Nice laid back home

Nicely new renovated exterior, great outside sitting area and hot tub. Ample parking, and a big screened in front porch. Roomy inside with very comfortable beds and nice open kitchen.

What a wonderful home. So we'll stocked and clean. Perfect location too! The hot tub was perfect in the October evenings. The dogs loved exploring the fenced yard. Hostesses were absolutely amazing. Will definitely stay at the Snapper Shack again.

Great property in beautiful area

The Snapper Shack is a great place to stay. Clean, all the amenities we needed, and in a great area. Carrabelle and the forgotten coast are absolutely beautiful. Not a chain restaurant in sight, incredibly friendly people, and outdoor activities abound. Plenty of places to fish from the beach, great food, and in our adventures from Bald Point state park to St. George Island I don't think we were ever more than a mile from the ocean.

Great bang for the buck

Nice little house with a nice little hot tub. Had everything we needed and then some. Great neighborhood. This was listed as a 3 bedroom, it is actually a two bedroom. Great place for the money

Hurricane Schmurricane

Amidst the threat of a hurricane potentially heading towards Carrabelle, the stay at the Snapper Shack was wonderful. Very cute little bungalow within walking distance of all our favorite places. would stay here again. Thank goodness the hurricane took a turn and missed us completely.

Kristen, I'm sorry about the location however if you drive around Carrabelle there are more than several unkept houses. I put up the privacy fence surrounding the whole property for that reason. The city unfortunately does not enforce much of anything including dog leash laws. This is the culture in this little town and I wish I could change it, but I can’t. The snapper shack is low priced and truly the best it can be in Carrabelle.
