A delightful stay at Celine’s lovely home! As two traveling couples we had plenty of room, The home was as described and very clean. Having two bathrooms was ideal and space for parking was perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and the location was wonderful, affording us an opportunity to walk to Chateau du Clos Luce and a short drive into the old town center. Highly recommend. This is the perfect spot in Amboise for seeing some of the best chateaus in the area. City center is right around the corner and there are a couple grocery stores right there. We recommend visiting the home of Leonardo da Vinci, Château du Clos Lucé, which is just down the street. The host is incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Finding the home and getting access was easy. The property has a very new interior, is so nicely decorated, stocked with anything we needed (coffee, soaps, paper towels, laundry detergent, Kleenex, fans in the bedrooms, etc.), provides some information on things to do in the area and was spotless clean. We had everything we needed and loved our stay! We highly recommend!!

This is an amazing place to stay for any large families. Every detail is meticulously attended to enhance your experience and convenience. The place is air-conditioned and we were very cool in the peak of the heat wave of July 2026. The check-in process was very smooth and the host is very responsive and accommodating. The parking is the best that we’ve ever had at a stay, your vehicle is within 20 feet of the door and within the gate. The outdoor patio is a nice place to have a drink. There are multiple grocery stores within a five minute drive of the home, including a supermarket that rivals a super Walmart in the United States called E. Leclerc. For those needing a taste of America, McDonald’s is there as well. You are 1.3 miles from the center of Amboise. An easy walk if the weather is nice. An even easier drive in any weather.

Comfortable, convenient and clean!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and spacious. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. If we ever have the opportunity to visit the Loire Valley again, we would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful property.

Spectacular Retreat in Amboise

This property is modern, comfortable and beautiful. We were a group of 5 adults and found plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor space was especially appreciated and we spent an entie afternoon sitting out there.

Just what we needed

After a brief stay at a nearby property that was not up to par, this was exactly what we needed and hoped for while in Amboise. Everything was clean, the design was beautiful, the owner was responsive, there was plenty of space and we loved the dedicated parking and private gate. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit!

Clean Modern Home

Our family of five was very comfortable here and Celine is a gracious and responsive host. The house is within walking distance of two grocery stores and Château Gaillard. Amboise city center is a short drive away with many shops and restaurants.

Visiting chateaus in Amboise

We absolutely loved this place! Everything was neat and clean, perfectly posh for our family. We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!

This property is stunning! Beautiful decoration throughout and attention to details. Was decorated for Christmas while we were there which added a special touch. Communication with host was easy. Washer/dryer was extra nice since we were traveling 10 days. Easy to make home cooked meals with things provided.

We are fans. If we had a week to stay in the Loire Valley, we would stay there again. I was worried it would be on a main road, but the location was quiet. Overall, it fit our needs nicely. All four kids had their own bed. We are wimpy Americans, so we asked for the heat to be turned up, and Céline did it. There was no bread knife, broom, shower soap, shampoo, or window shades in the master bedroom, but this did not detract significantly from our stay.
