The Forsyth fountain is one of Savannah's most well known symbols. In addition to Forsyth Park, you are just a short walk to the Landmark District. With its grand historic homes, and sprawling oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Continue on over to Broughton Street, where the serious shopper will find small thrift shops nestled amongst brand name retailers. Whether its clothing, home furnishings or jewelry, you'll be sure to find it on Broughton Street. Don't forget to check out River Street as well.
