We found it to be very clean and cozy. Beautiful views in the backyard. We found the bed we slept in to be very comfortable as well. The hot tub on the back deck overlooking the inlet was the cherry on top. We would definitely stay here again, so much to see and do in this area.

Enjoyable family vacation spot

My family enjoyed our stay at Storm Bay. It is a very comfortable house and a great launching point for adventures around Ucluelet and Tofino. We would be happy to stay again.

Ucluelet is truly an incredible place to visit, and Storm Bay Cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and was well stocked with basic supplies. The view was amazing, and we really loved relaxing in the hot tub at night. There are so many incredible beaches and scenic areas to explore nearby. Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. Loved watching birds off the back deck in the mornings, especially the Eagle. The neighborhood bear was an exciting site also! This house is close to the lighthouse loop which is a stunning trail. The house is very comfortable. And the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of some very active days.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was well set up for our family of 6. The location was great for us to explore trails nearby, a short walk to terrace beach and a beautiful view off our deck!

Perfect spot!

Storm Bay 249 was a perfect fit for our family. It was modern, clean, and spacious. Communication from the host was clear. Would recommend this property to other families.

Cosy clean fabulous view

The house was well appointed with all the things you would need including soaps shampoos, kitchen equipment, a hot tub and even some board games! The only thing I would add is a tea pot! We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had one more day there.

Perfect getaway

The place was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the separate location on the second floor so the kids could play and hangout. Also close to the trails, beaches and water. Wonderful location. Will stay there again.

Highly recommend!

Wonderful and cozy space with great amenities and location in Ucluelet. Quiet neighbourhood with a great view of the water. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, large living space and dining area, great for board games. Definitely recommend to stay here!

We loved this place! The cottage /Apartment was perfect! Everything was great! The hot tub was perfect and the shower was huge! It was a quiet setting and a quick little drive to the town. The kitchen was stacked with all the necessities. If you need a nice get away I highly recommend this place !

Spring break storm watching in Ucluelet!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in Ucluelet over spring break. We purposely chose this location for its proximity to the Wild Pacific Trail and surrounding areas to watching the storms come in, and we were not disappointed! The rental is clean, well stocked, beds were comfortable (bunk beds were a great bonus for teenagers who don’t want to share!), and we were within walking distance to so many trails. I also appreciated that there weren’t any crazy or excessive checkout procedures for us to complete.

What a great place to stay! Beautiful views off the deck while sitting in the private hot tub. Everything was fully stocked. Kids loved the bunkbed! Very well located for hiking and exploring the area. Hope to be back very soon!

West Coast Oasis

After cancelling travel plans to Hawaii, we decided on a quick get away to our favourite place on Vancouver Island - Ucluelet. Condo is better than advertised! New, clean and fully equipped. Connor is a great host. Highly recommended

Fantastic stay!

My family had a wonderful experience at Storm Bay. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It is large, airy, immaculate and has absolutely everything you need to enjoy your stay. The deck, hot tub and view were the icing on the cake. We took advantage of the location in Ucluelet and explored breathtaking trails, enjoyed the local beaches and kayaked in the harbour. I highly recommend a stay at Storm Bay! My family will certainly be back. Thank you Connor!

Excellent location, beautiful home

This vacation rental was surprisingly well stocked in the kitchen. So impressed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was timely. My only disappointment was the increase in price from the quote on the day that I booked versus the final bill. I was not satisfied with the reasoning provided. All in all, I would still highly recommend this property.

EVERYTHING IT ADVERTISED PLUS!!!

This VRBO is everything it advertises and more! It was sooooooo refreshing to have ALL the amenities needed to be able to totally enjoy the stay. Toilet paper, trash bags,Dish soap, dishwasher pods, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner included! Had to get our own paper towels and laundry soap and dryer sheets but.... other than that.... It was sooooooo nice and relaxing! The hot tub was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it every night in the chill.... amazing view also! We had one issue and Connor responded promptly.... The only recommendation I have is for better fry pans and pots. They're quite worn and evident of major Teflon scratches aren't healthy.... Knowing the HIGH QUALITY of this place , I'm sure the kitchen pots and pans will be updated... A truly amazing spot! We loved it and are so glad we stayed there....

Fraudulent Ad - not quiet stay / not family friendly / not entire home

Saying our family vacation was ruined is an understatement. This was not the quiet inlet as promised nor did we get the entire property as advertised. Undisclosed and noisy tenant in basement constantly banged floor when we walked. Construction a few doors down not disclosed. Irony is that the owner asked us to keep noise levels down when we fully disclosed we have kids and wanted to rent the whole house. This is a fraudulent advertisement and we are disappointed we did not get what was promised to us. I felt unsafe knowing a tenant could arrive in our unit at any time. Ucluelet is unfriendly and filled with service staff and residents who have a disdain for tourists. Do your research before you arrive - we regret not doing ours. We have never had a more unpleasant (and frankly expensive) vacation.

Great family prioerty

We had a great time in Ucluelet. Colin was a responsive host and the property met our expectations. Our twin boys loved the home and the hot tub. The location is walking distance from the Pacific Rim Trail. We would definitely stay again.
