Nice place close to the beach

Nice house, on walking distance to the beach. The owner is very helpful and friendly (where to go, restaurant tips,...). We stayed here with our 3 sons in the age of 16-18. They wanted to go surfing. Great place to surf!

Charmante Unterkunft mit viel Platz und guter Einrichtung. Gut gelegen, man ist schnell am Strand, hat nicht weit zum Einkaufen und ist dennoch an ruhiger Lage mit Meerblick. Umgebung bietet einiges: Strand, Surfing, Wandern, Stadt und vieles mehr.

Somo - a wee gem!

We spent four nights here at the end of May - for us, a perfect time to visit, before the summer crowds! This coastline was a revelation. It’s absolutely beautiful. But not so good for swimming, it’s designed for surfing for sure! The house was pretty much as we expected. Spacious and well equipped, in a quiet area about half a mile from the beach and the centre of Somo. Communication with the owner (who lives in Paris) was excellent and she was full of useful suggestions for places to visit. I would recommend this holiday let, but would want to point out that there actually is no parking on site (the description suggests otherwise). We were able to park in the street with no problem, not sure how easy that would be in high season?

Glad to hearthat you liked the region and the house. About parking as it was written : 1) 1 car in the garage ( if you want). 2) Outside in the street free from September the 15 th until June the 15 th and at this period from 20:00 until 10:00. It is a tourist place ( the best surfing place in Spain ) so lots of people coming . For sure , it is more difficult but like any tourist place.

Parfait !

La maison est très bien située : vue mer depuis le salon et les chambres et très au calme! Elle est dans Somo et donc les commerces sont accessibles à pied. Elle est également très bien équipée avec deux salles de douches complètement indépendantes et la cuisine est très complète. La décoration est top: on a vraiment l'impression d'être à la maison et pas dans une simple location. Nous avons adoré les chambres de couleur différente. L'emplacement est parfait : la plage est accessible à pied et on peut facilement se balader le long de la côte. On se trouve en face de Santander facilement accessible en bâteau plusieurs fois par jours. Enfin, c'est un bon point central pour découvrir la Cantabrie. Un grand merci à Estela qui a su à distance nous donner pleins de conseils et d'idée pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour.

perfecta ubicacion para surferos

la atencion de la propietaria muy buena. la casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para una agradable estancia y es muy espaciosa. Echamos en falta el wifi. No hubo manera de conectarse. Volveriamos a repetir .

Sehr liebevoll gestaltet Estella war immer erreichbar und hilfreich und super nett Zum Strand zu Fuß ca 8-10 min. Sehr schöner Strand, Umgebung super und mega abwechslungsreich: sehr schön!

La casa es muy cómoda y las fotos son fieles a la realidad. La cocina tiene mucho menaje. Esta cercana a la playa y situada en una zona tranquila.

Maison très agreable

La maison est conforme à l'annonce, spacieuse, confotable, agréable, bien équipée, bien décorée. Nous étions 6 donc les 2 salles d'eau ont été appréciées. La literie est très bonne. La maison est à 10-15 min à pied des plages, d'un petit supermarché et du bateau-bus qui mène à santander en 30 minutes. C'est très pratique. Estela répond à vos questions et demandes très rapidement et est de très bons conseils.

Un lieu parfait pour des vacances en famille

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille (4 personnes avec 2 adolescentes) dans cette ravissante maison de style townhouse américaine. La maison est sur 2 étages (cuisine-salon en RDC, 3 chambres au 1er, 1 grande chambre au 2eme) et très joliment décorée. Il y a deux salles de bain ce qui est pratique lorsque l'on est nombreux Tout y est pour se sentir chez soi. La cuisine est très bien équipée et la literie confortable. Un petit jardin permet de manger dehors, entouré d'hortensias. La plage est à 15mn à pieds, un super-marché se trouve à 10mn. Notre voiture est donc restée au garage, situé au sous-sol de la maison. Estela, la propriétaire de la maison a été parfaite pour notre accueil et pour répondre à nos questions. Somo est un lieu privilégié pour des vacances si l'on aime le surf et les baignades dans les rouleaux. La grande plage de sable fin est surveillée et très propre. D'excellents cours de surf à des prix très raisonnables sont proposés par 2 écoles. Santander, une ville à découvrir absolument, est reliée à Somo par un bateau-bus pittoresque. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location!

Tres bonne semaine

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille avec 4 enfants. La maison est au calme, à quelques minutes à pied des commerces et belle et grande plage. La région est superbe et la navette en bateau pour aller de Somo à Santander est pratique.

Agréables vacances en famille

Maison située dans un lotissement calme et sécurisé. Très propre à notre arrivée. Elle est fonctionnelle et spacieuse. Idéalement placée pour visiter les différentes plages et pour rejoindre Santander en bateau. Estela la propriétaire est de bons conseils et elle est fiable pour les réservations. Nous vous conseillons cette location pour des vacances reposantes en famille.

Toller Aufenthalt in Somo

Wir hatten das haus für 1 Woche gebucht und waren positiv überrascht, das Haus ist toll und hat alles was man wohl auch Zuhause hat. Man erreicht den Strand in 5 min. zu Fuß und liegt aber auch sehr ruhig. Somo hat einen tollen Strand an dem es immer etwas windig aber dennoch schön ist. Wir würde immer wieder kommen.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Ich war mit meiner Familie in Spanien und haben dort 8 Tage verbracht. Das Haus war sehr schön und ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, der Strand ist ein Traum und vom Klima her ein typischer Atlantik Meer Strand bei dem es immer etwas windig aber angenehm ist. Im Haus war alles was benötigt wird auch Waschmaschinen und sogar deutsches Fernsehen. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Danke für Alles

Maison louée fin avril pour une semaine mémorable !!! La préparation du voyage s'est faite par mail grâce à la réactivité et la gentillesse d'Estela. Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement par la maman de la propriétaire. La maison est très propre, confortable, agréable et spacieuse pour une famille de 5 personnes dont 3 enfants. Sa situation à Somo est parfaite : 30 min de bateau-navette pour aller à Santander, proches des nombreuses plages, criques et falaises qui font le bonheur des yeux ! La plage de Somo est immense et donc toute indiquée pour faire courir et amuser les enfants. Un supermarché est à 3 min en voiture. Même si la météo n'était pas tout le temps agréable, nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de ces vacances dans cette région incroyable mêlant les plages, les pâturages et les montagnes !

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment très agréable dans cette maison spacieuse et meublée avec goût . Elle est située dans un lotissement très calme avec un accès simple et agréable pour aller à Santander en bateau . La vue sur mer depuis les chambres est un vrai bonheur. "La casa es amplia, se en...

"La casa es amplia, se entregó limpia y está en buen estado, aunque la cocina y el baño de la planta superior necesitarían una actualización. El pueblo y la playa están a 5 minutos andando desde la vivienda, el camino es agradable y se realiza por una acera segura, aunque el desnivel puede ser un problema para personas con escasa movilidad. Los propietarios fueron correctos y rápidos en la contestación, aunque nos dió la impresión con algunos detalles de ser algo desconfiados, quizás por alguna experiencia negativa anterior. Recomendamos la excursión a Santander en barco desde el mismo pueblo de Somo, fuimos con niños y nos gustó mucho a todos, las vistas de la bahía a un lado, montañas nevadas al otro... La playa de Somo es preciosa, no la pudimos aprovechar por mal tiempo, pero es muy recomendable. El conjunto positivo y repitiríamos de nuevo. "

Für mich und meine Famili...

Für mich und meine Familie war das Haus perfekt. Es werden alle für den täglichen Gebrauch nötigen Gegenstände vom Vermieter gestellt und durch den Garten wird die Wohnmöglichkeit um einiges aufgewertet. Wir konnten oft bis spät abends im Garten essen und beisamen sitzen. Strand, Supermarkt und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren zufrieden und würden das Haus auch wieder mieten.

"La experiencia en la casa ha sido muy agradable, la decoración de la misma, hace una estancia muy acogedora.Cuenta con todas las comodidades de una casa de grandes dimensiones. La cocina esta perfectamente equipada y, a pesar de las fechas, la calefaccion funciona perfectamente. Esta muy cerquita de la ciudad para poder pasar una tarde de compras y su sitiacion permite combinar playa y montaña a unos kilometros. Lo mejor, sin duda alguna, son las magnificas vistas desde la habitacion principar de la bahia de Santander.La casa esta muy limpia y la zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectar y disfrutar de unos dias de descanso. gracias:)"
