In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 2, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This beautiful second-floor Turtle Cove Villa offers two bedrooms, high ceilings, cherry hardwood floors, and long lagoon views. The villa is a 5 minute walk or quick bike ride to the beach.

The villa welcomes you with lovely lagoon views that can be seen from the kitchen, eating area, family room, and primary bedroom. You will immediately feel relaxed in the soothing designer colors and furniture throughout the villa. The screened porch is a great place to enjoy the fabulous lagoon views and sunsets. The living room is a great gathering space to watch a movie, play a game, listen to music or read a book. The kitchen opens up to the dining room with a table and seating for 4 and has convenient access to the screened porch. Enjoy your cup of coffee (brewed by either the Keurig or standard coffee maker in the villa) while taking in the gorgeous lagoon view!

The primary bedroom features a king bed, ceiling fan, an armoire with a TV, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two full beds, SmartTV, and an attached full bath.

This villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Great stay at Kiawah

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was fun watching the wildlife in and around the lagoon. Highly recommend.

Great Place!

Wonderful winter getaway

Property had everything needed for a two week stay. Very clean and well cared for. Great screened in porch from which to view the lagoon. Convenient access to the beach; a short and scenic walk away.

Very well stocked kitchen, clean, about 15-20 min walk to beach. Ceiling fans were strange. They made clicking noises and would change speed erratically.

Great spot!

Super clean condo. I’m very picky about cleanliness and I cannot complain about one thing. They also provided plenty of trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. Great location on the pond, we could watch the wildlife off the porch. Quick bike ride to the beach.

Anniversary Getaway

We loved the island and area. The $250 credit toward bikes was a lifesaver as we biked almost everywhere! We were a bit disappointed that we were not able to use the amenities of the resort because we booked through VRBO. Also, being so close to the beach we assumed the condo would have beach towels, but were unable to find any and had to purchase them. Other than that, we loved the scenery, privacy, and did not need to leave the island for the entire length of our stay because everything was so close by. We will definitely be back!

Recommend

Overall a good experience on a beautiful island with clean beaches and great trails. There were a few minor issues that travelers may want to know before going. The presence and threat of alligators prevented us from using the available dock on the canal. The closest beach access lacked restrooms. Some of the restaurants turned us away because they were understaffed or it made wait times very long. Reservations are recommended.

Kiawah getaway

Very nice unit overall - well kept, updated, comfortable all around. Kitchen was well equipped. A seemingly little thing that we appreciated - tons of towel bars! Just goes to show how the owners think about details. The rental agency gave warning (along with a slight discount to our original price for our stay) about construction/renovation in unit below us, but there was no activity there at all during our visit at the beginning of August 2023. It’s a 4-unit building and we actually had it all to ourselves. Convenient to the beach. First time to Kiawah and we will definitely be back and would certainly try to stay in this property again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Turtle Cove Villa. The property is well maintained and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. We saw alligators, beautiful white egrets and blue herons several times. We would absolutely recommend this location to friends and family. The one downside - bugs are aplenty in this area of the country and we did see a handful of roaches despite the rigorous pest treatment schedule (posted near the fridge). I suppose it's just part of the experience!

Well maintained

This property was exactly as described and more. Views of the pond, and alligators, was wonderful from the shaded spacious deck. After spending five days enjoying coffee out there every morning, hated to leave! Property was immaculate, updated and very well appointed: Binoculars on the porch, board games, flashlights & umbrellas available if needed, and kitchen accessories are very well stocked and organized. Beds comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets/pillows. Would definitely stay here again. *Loved being up higher for views, breeze and privacy. However, that meant a few flight of stairs, so perhaps not ideal for folks that need to carry lots of children’s accessories up and down, or those with mobility issues. Totally worth it for us.

The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was the right size with enough space to not feel crowded and good family spaces including the screened deck to watch the wildlife on the pond. We enjoyed the beaches, biking around the island, the nearby tennis and pickleball courts, and all the club facilities and activities within biking distance. We would enjoy a relaxing return visit again soon.

A very nice villa
