Welcome to Harbor Island! You are just steps away from the beach and pool when you stay in our beautiful, gated island getaway located in the E Building. Updated in February 2022, our two bedroom, two and a half bath retreat has gorgeous views of the pool and ocean, both from the owners' bedroom and the private balcony. Enjoy walks among the live oak trees with Spanish moss and palmetto trees that are customary to the Low Country. Make sure to always keep an eye out for the plethora of wildlife that calls Harbor Island's ecosystem "home," including but not limited to dolphins, crabs, birds, and turtles.

The bedrooms are located on the second floor of the villa, each with its own private bathroom. The owners suite has a king bed; the guest bedroom has a full and twin. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need to prepare your meals - just bring your own food! There is seating in the dining area for 6, and the balcony seats 4. The Wi-Fi service enables you to work from home while enjoying the island, stream your favorite shows on tv's located in both bedrooms and the living room, and research all the great things to do in Beaufort County.

Harbor Island is one of the most peaceful locations on the East Coast and our personal favorite for vacations. The island is private, gated, and beautifully preserved. When you stay at our villa, you have full access to the Beach and Racquet Club with its large pool, kiddie pool, playground, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball, and exercise facilities. The beach itself is a beauty to behold, and wildlife is plentiful. This island is truly a birdwatcher's paradise! Every time we come to this beach we are overwhelmed by its splendor, its sense of peace, and its power to relax the body and spirit. Fresh seafood and a couple of wonderful restaurants are a short bike ride from the gate.

Harbor Island itself is very quiet and slow-paced; however, many exciting destinations are a short drive away. Hunting Island State Park is only 1 mile away with a beautiful beach with great finds as the tide goes out, miles of forestland with hiking trails, fishing pier with equipment rental, and a lighthouse with breathtaking views. We have a vehicle park pass for you to borrow during your stay. Beaufort, the most charming coastal town in America, is only 15 miles away, Savannah is 45 miles away, and Charleston is 70 miles from the island. We have enjoyed all these destinations over the years on our visits to Harbor Island.

The Harbor Island pool is open from April 1 - November 1.

Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Harbor Island Owners Association require a gate pass to gain access to the private island. GATE PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and are subject to change. The current rates are; for a day pass $25.00; 2 nights $35.00; 3 nights $45.00; 4 nights $55.00; 5 nights $65.00; 6 nights $75.00; 7 nights $85.00; 8-30 nights $140.00; 31-364 nights $215.00.
