Zen Like-Luxury Desert Princess Palm Springs Condo with Great View

Beautifully remodeled condo in the Desert Princess Country Club.

2 master suites with full kitchen, or maybe you'd enjoy using the BBQ and relaxing outside on the patio by the firepit. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. Walk in closets in both bedrooms for golf clubs and long term stays. Neutral colors. This is a very relaxing calm environment for rest and relaxation, although there are many fun activities and entertainment nearby.

If you like to bake or bbq the condo is well appointed but if you feel there is anything missing, you can just let us know and we will get it to you.


Overlooking the 7th Hole of the Lagos Course and the fountain, the view is a welcome site after along day of shopping, hiking, sightseeing, golfing or tennis. There are over 30+ pools and hot tubs on the property and you are welcome at the Hotel "big pool" as a guest. We are only steps from pool 6 but not in right in front to be bothered by the pool noise.

Within the complex the Desert Princess has spa services, tennis courts, 3 x9 hole courses and driving range, 19th hole Mountain Grille with a beautiful view of the mountains, a gym and restaurants walking distance from the condo.


Please note that no personal music or noise emitting machines are allowed to be played allowed outside the condo nor at the pool. So please wear headsets when using these devices. No noise after 10pm or before 8am. To see the entire list of rules go to cathedral city website. We are allowed maximum 2 cars for our unit so ew adhere to that.

As a short term guest in our home away from home, we ask that you keep in mind that many residents are full time and as such you must respect our neighbor’s privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property. Please see the Good Neighbor brochures in the welcome binder on the coffee table for more info.


You will be given the Good Neighbors Rules and tips and be required to acknowledge them as well as sign a rental agreement as of June 24th 2021 according to the new City rules.

The property is in a fantastic location with beautiful views from the patio. The kitchen was well appointed- we had everything we needed. The owner was super easy to work with and very responsive. We had a lovely stay.

Lovely property with great golf course views! Convenient to all the wonderful sites and restaurants Palm Springs has to offer. Communication with the owner was fast and easy; an on-site property manager team responded within minutes to small repair requests. Sure hope we can return for another 4 week stay😎

Wonderful place

We loved the condo, it was very clean and ready for guests. One on the nicest things is that the screen doors open easily! Don’t usually find that in rentals. We will definitely come back

Tranquility in the desert

We really enjoyed staying at Athena's wonderful home. She had it tastefully updated providing a charming and warm atmosphere as soon as one enters. Plenty of clean towels and daily necessities available which made us felt like being home. Backdrop of the golf course against clear sky and airy desert forms a refreshing contrast to relax with wines. Highly recommended for all prospective renters.

Perfect!

My parents have been vacationing in Palm Springs for a month each winter for several years. This year they had to find different accommodation as the place they rented is no longer available to them. We found Athena's condo on line and booked it for the month of February of 2017. My husband and I joined my parents for 10 days. We were all very impressed with the layout, the location and the condition of the condo. The Desert Princess is lovely and the staff working at the gates are very friendly. We enjoyed daily walks each morning throughout the complex. Some of the condos are shaded all day and others have no golf course view. This one has both a great view and sun exposure during the day so sitting on the patio to eat, enjoy a drink and watch the golfers was a favorite past time. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. When my parents called for a few minor things, they received a quick response. We were a bit concerned about being further away from the center of Palm Springs, but some favorite shopping areas were closer and everything else was only a short drive away. We will definitely stay again and have already booked for next year. Thank you Athena. Cathy, Rob, Al, and Shirley.

Lovely Condo - perfect for a PSP Getaway...

I enjoyed a lovely 2 week work-cation at Athena's condo and was thoroughly pleased with my stay. My communications with the owner were always timely and helpful - she is a gracious host that really made me feel welcome. The home was comfortable and well equipped and perfect for my needs in every way. Would have loved to extend longer but it's a very popular unit on VRBO and wasn't available. Family Spring Break

Great condo in a nice location. It was a bit windy as others have mentioned, but that is pretty typical of the Palm Springs Area. With the wind does comes the sand. The arrival and departure process was very easy. The owner was very responsive to our needs. Short walk to the nearest pool.

On vrbo had a hard time getting s hold of property owner. Unit I'd nice, close to pools and golf. Gated community. Close to downtown and airport. Nicely accommodated. If you are cooking only small frying pans. Lovrly view of golf course and the mountain from the back porch. Nice porch with table and 2 lawn chairs.

Amazing Condo at the Desert Princess

My family absolutely loved Athena's condo at the Desert Princess. First of all, the grounds and the property and amazing. I will say that we had the pool all to ourselves and almost never saw other guests. Second, the condo is perfect. From how it is decorated to how well it is stocked. It's wonderful. They've thought of everything. Lastly, Athena is great. She is immediately responsive and a pleasure to work with. This location gave us the flexibility to do things we don't normally do in the desert. We were in downtown almost nightly, enjoying the shop and restaurants. I can't seem to say enough wonderful things. You should stay here. It's awesome. This will be my new home away from home. Thanks Athena!

I was born in the United States, but grew up in Ottawa Canada. Moved to California for college and stayed. My Parents still live in Canada, in fact the reason I bought this condo was because they had planned to retire here, but that hasn't happened yet. I love the desert and though my parents can't use their home i am so glad to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

I bought this condo with the intention that my parents would retire here, so in 2006 I remodeled to give it a more Zen like relaxing feel, then in 2017 I remodeled the kitchen and added certain features such as adding a 55" smartTV that is connected to the internet, so you can watch Netflix on the TV, and adding a wine fridge so we could leave a few local wines for guests. It's located in a quiet area of the resort near Lagos Hole 6 and Pool 6, and has nice views of gold course with Fountain water feature and partial mountain view from patio.

What makes this property unique

I love how when we visit our condo we can just relax and enjoy a restful day at the pool, and then in the evening enjoy the nightlife of downtown Palm Springs (Dinner, Dancing, Shows, Concerts).
Some unique benefits about Desert Princess is that there is a sport for everyone, discounts as if you were the owner (20% on food at Mountain Grille) and except for during Covid you can get a great massage at the spa without leaving the property.
I also love the security of being in a gated community.
