The house is heated to a maximum of 19° during the winter. You cannot adjust the temperature yourself; it is controlled remotely. However, you can ask the host to adjust the temperature. The 19° limit is mandated by law, which sets this maximum temperature for residential properties for environmental reasons and to prevent abuse by some guests.
Additional notes
This house is typical of Ardennes-style homes. Everything is available for your use, with the request that you never leave an empty container without replacing it. The same goes for the fridge: if you leave items inside that are open, please write the date on them so the next guest can enjoy them if possible. This house is meant to be welcoming and respectful.
I’d also like to mention that there are 2 or 3 very affectionate and clean stray cats that regularly come by asking for food; you’re welcome to feed them (everything you need is provided).
A large garage on the street is available upon request. It can accommodate cars, caravans, several motorcycles, and bicycles.
