Great price, great location. Close to beach, quiet pool, easy free parking, close to airport, owner was easy to get a hold of, lots of tv channels, flat top cooker and toaster also, beach towels, iron, coffee.
We loved the coziness of the place. It was clean and decorated nicely. Beds were super comfy. We loved the location of the wave rider and that it was just a block away from the beach and Walmart marketplace.
Front desk people were very nice and helpful
It was a super busy week and a lot of roads were blocked off and they recommended other roads to get around easier.
The pool was nice, but the lazy river part was closed the entire time we were there (almost a week)
There were neighbors and other people around the wave rider building that appeared to be sketchy, but overall this room was nice. The only downfall is that we heard arguing and smelled marijuana in our room nearly nightly.
Overall though good stay!! Would stay here again

Not a family feel
The air purifier in the room was covered in hair, sand in our sheets, and dirty dishes in the cabinet. Every time we went out as a family, we were faced with cursing in the pool area and a fight almost breaking out each time. NOT for a conservative style family. The neighborhood is not nice at all. The elevator stunk of urine and the facility was not well maintained.
The room was very nicely decorated which helped and we did enjoy the lazy river.. although this lazy river is very lazy, there was hardly any current.

THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LIKE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY. I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW IT’S EVEN A FUNCTIONING BUSINESS. PICTURES ARE MISLEADING AND SO IS THE TITLE OF THE ROOM THAT CLEARLY SAYS OCEAN FRONT VIEW. ALL LIES. NOT A VIEW OF THE OVEN IN SIGHT. ONLY VIEW WE HAD WAS THEIR SORRY EXCUSE FOR A POOL. ROOMS VERY OUTDATED. MATTRESSES STAINED. PARTS OF FLOORING WAS COMING UP. DIDN’T STAY A FULL HOUR BEFORE BOOKING AT ANOTHER FACILITY. PROPERTY HOST WAS VERY RUDE WHEN CONTACTED ABOUT THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF THE OCEAN VIEW ROOM I THOUGHT I BOOKED. IT WAS MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND WAS ALMOST RUINED BY THIS FACILITY.
My husband and I stayed at here Oct 13-16 2022. The property was great. They have it decorated super cute. We didn't spend much time here. We spent must of out time at a softball tournament and exploring. It was quite at night. It is located one block away from the beach!!

Seedy Motel, Nice Room
This room is located inside a seedy motel, lots of smoke smell and nasty things in the hallways. Not at all a place I would choose to stay with children in tow. However, with just my husband and I, it was livable. The room is fairly updated and you can tell they've tried really hard to overcome the surroundings by decorating and making things look nice inside. It's small, but worked for us. Our number one complaint - the sheets on the bed are TERRIBLE. So sticky, so hard to sleep on and the bedding smelled sour. Please get some 100% cotton sheets; polyester is disgusting, especially in a humid climate like this! Minor inconvenience - there was no stopper for the bathtub (it was broken) and no where to dry dishes because the kitchen is tiny with no room for a dish rack. We did enjoy having a bigger fridge and an actual kitchen sink as opposed to a regular hotel room, but just due to space limitations it's pretty cramped and not well outfitted. The toaster oven is nasty inside - we didn't use it.
Basically, if you're looking for a cheap way to stay near the beach and you don't mind a sleazy motel exterior, this room is probably one of the nicest ones there. That being said, it's not that great... The owner did not send our check-in info until I messaged him and asked for it and I don't know how often the door code gets changed since it wasn't personalized to us at all. Probably would not stay here again.
You literally cross the street and there is ocean :). Fairly quiet building making it easy to rest whenever you need to. Beds were comfortable, and the kids loved the decor.
Owner was great. This is like a motel. Outside is very dirty and needed updating. But the unit was super cute. Across the street from beach. Pool was nice. Comfortable beds. Great communication with owner of the unit. Wave rider needs to update the outside to give this room justice
I don’t have a bad word to say about the hosts, location or the room; it was all great! The only thing not perfect (which was out of host’s control) were the loud vehicles on the Main Street. It was a block from the beach, host had towels and beach chairs for us. My kiddo loved the pool and the lazy river; the room itself was great. We were a block from Walmart, so able to get groceries and not eat out every meal. There were never too many people in the pool or nearby, everything was perfect. Hosts were quick to check respond to questions and made our experience awesome. Thank you!!!
We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back!
Loved it!

Interesting Stay
Although the property had not been cleaned upon arrival, the owner made every effort to get it cleaned quickly while I took a walk. The property sits in the middle of Myrtle Beach, which can be quite noisy especially during bike week which I had no idea about. I was there for a religious retreat and picnic. But the owner had prepared me for this so I can’t blame him. The studio was adequately equipped although I would suggest adding a dishwasher, and the pool amenity was satisfying. I will suggest that the Property Management begin to invest in hallway carpeting, upgrading the lobby, and upgrading the exterior of the property as it has become quite outdated. But as stated, the owner did all he could to make me comfortable and to make up for the systematic error in cleaning upon my arrival.

Cute little condo
Cute little condo. The neighbors were very loud they woke up at night few times. Ac unit next to fridge was very dirty and dusty. It also looks like mold was growing on the ceiling. Close to the beach.

Black Bike Week
My son & I were in Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament. The outside of the motel, hallways, elevator, luggage carts etc all could use some work. The inside of the room was super cute and comfortable. The only negative for the room itself, is the sliding glass door leading out to the balcony. It need immediate attention, it doesn’t slide open or closed without a big struggle. My biggest complaint is there was no mention of Black Bike week for the dates we selected. I’m aware that you can’t control the events or the way they are handled, however if I had known they would block off ALL ROADS in and out to the strip, there would be loud music, yelling, burn outs, and half naked women running up and down the strip all hours of the night, we would have stayed somewhere else. A trip to any restaurants, attractions, Walmart etc would have taken 3-10 min- ended up taking 35-45 min. It was extremely frustrating. The backed up traffic in and out was ridiculous, there were barricades everywhere, police and security everywhere but NO ONE directing traffic. Again I know it’s not your fault that it was handled SO POORLY. Might I suggest mentioning things like this that effect the entire trip for your guest.
