Northern Michigan is the premier destination for your next family/friend adventure. This property sits on the west shore of Big Glen like right off the narrows and is available for weekly rentals in the summer Sunday to Sunday. The 100 feet of beachfront across M22, beckons you to the blue waterfront, where you can enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, picnics, and ending the day around the warmth of the fire pit on star lit evenings.

The large lake front windows showcase Big Glen’s myriad clear, blue water & sunrise views, which can be enjoyed from inside the house or sitting on the deck drinking your coffee in the morning. Features include: 4 bedrooms, 3 Full baths, stunning stone fireplace, and large fully stocked kitchen. (see pictures, video and floor plan for more details)

The location is perfection and only a short distance away from a variety of Northern Michigan activities. Sleeping Bear Dune National Park is a quick drive away which will provide hours of entertainment and wonder. The quaint town of Glen Arbor is a couple miles down the road for you to enjoy the many restaurants, shops, and galleries . In addition there are places to rent bikes, as well as kayaks for trips down the Crystal River. There are also a couple of marinas in town where you could rent a boat for the day or longer! A little bit further up the Lake Michigan coast you can stop by Port Oneida, Fishtown, and countless other places to enjoy everything Leelanau County has to offer, the beauty around every corner is breathtaking. And don't forget while walking the coast line to look for little treasures such as seaglass and petoskey stones!

Very clean, well decorated, comfortable, family friendly, beautiful lake view and lake front firepit with seating, paddle boards, and more. This large home had spectacular view from deck, inside house, and the location was perfect. plenty of space for us all to spread out or be together. Kitchen had everything needed and the grills were great too. We are already considering a return visit.

As a returning family of four, we were looking forward to our time at Glen Lake. As before, it did not disappoint. If you like a comfortable home, with all the necessary amenities, enjoy sitting dockside, paddleboarding, laying in a hammock, s'mores by the lake, then this is your spot.

Great house! We had an 11 month old, and 9 adults and all slept comfortably. The 11 month old slept upstairs and no one could hear her when she cried overnight/early in the morning. All the beach extras and towels were very nice to have. The host was responsive to questions asked. 100% would stay again!

Trip Down Memory Lane

Two families loved this home for our Glen Lake reunion. The accommodations were perfect, the weather not so much but the fall colors were exquisite! We were comfortable, warm and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. We had such a good time, we might make this reunion an annual affair!

Ironman Michigan 70.3 Group House

This house was incredible! Glen Arbor is magical and this house offers lots of space, an incredible view of Glen Lake and easy access to its' magically blue waters as well! Josh was extremely responsive and helpful. We are hoping to stay here for next year's race as well!

Glen Arbor area golf trip

A group of 12 friends rented this property for a golf trip in the Glen Arbor area. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of beds/space for all of us. After golf we could all hang out on the top deck of the house. A few from our group jumped in the water after golf to relax as well. Overall a great experience, and if we go back to the area again for golfing, I will be checking if this house is available and rent from Josh again.

10 Stars Fantastic Girls Weekend

I can’t say enough good things about this Glen Lake home! The house was immaculate! Comfortable beds and linens! So much room for everyone! We were there for a girls weekend and felt so lucky we found this gem! The kitchen was so organized and clean! I wasn’t sure how I would like having to cross the road to reach the water, but it was perfectly fine! Beautiful views made it easy to sit back and relax! We will be back!

STOP Hammock Time :)

Our idea of a vacation is tons of downtime and this is a wonderful space to wind down. Morning coffee sitting on the dock, an evening drink on the deck, or a cozy night in watching a movie. It is a great location, about 2 miles into Glen Arbor, same to Sleeping Bear Dunes, many local beaches, farm stands, ice cream (so much ice cream), and water, water, water. The views are amazing. Our family of four had plenty of space, but the home could easily accommodate a couple families. We loved our time Up North and look forward to returning again.

Excellent Visit

We loved this home. College friends with all of our kids, just perfect for us. Ability to paddle board, kayak, swim. They even provided extra boards for us to use so our entire group had enough water toys to enjoy. We also brought a jet ski, nice dock. If you have a boat the water is too shallow to get to dock, would have to moor it. We cooked a lot for a large crowd and the kitchen was well stocked with most hardware we needed. Glad I brought my huge pot to cook for a large group. Mr. May was very timely with responses. You do need to cross M22 to get to the lake, you would need to keep an eye on very young kids. The lake was perfection and the Glen Arbor location is close enough to drive to Traverse City too. I highly recommend this property.

Family vacation

We had a nice vacation but a few things we were not happy with. The house is on a busy road and you have to cross that road to get to the dock and lake. It’s not lakefront like the pictures show it’s across the street from the lake. The night we tried to use the grill it caught on fire and ruined everything we had on the grill, looked like it wasn’t cleaned. And the back door didn’t lock, the host tried to tell us it did and he didn’t have any problems but we couldn’t get it to lock the entire week. We stayed there. And we had eight people in our family. If no one could get that to lock there is a problem. When we told the host about the issues that we had, he tried to have an excuse for everything and acted like he really didn’t care which is very disappointing to us considering we rented that house for a week for our family. The town was cute, lake was beautiful.

We very much enjoyed our stay for our family birthday celebration. Although we live in northern Michigan, we had never been to the Leelanau Peninsula, so we had great fun exploring. Highlights included Leland/Fish Town where the huge salmon were quite visible leaping up stream, and Hop Lot brew garden. The three levels of the home provided ample space for playing games and joining each other. If the weather had been warmer, we certainly would’ve enjoyed spending time on the lake. Josh was very quick to respond to my few questions.

A perfect getaway stay!

I invited my friends to come up to Glen Arbor for my 30th birthday. This home was beyond what we could have imagined! In my opinion the pictures of the living areas seem smaller than what they really are! The house was so spacious and perfect for our weekend stay. It was a little chilly by the water so we stayed on the deck and the wind was blocked perfectly! We had a picnic brunch by the water and enjoyed the fire pit to warm up. The owners have thought out all the details for you to have the perfect up north stay! Highly recommend. I wish we could have stayed another day.

Excellent Accommodations and Location

This was our first trip to Northern Michigan to watch our son and friend compete in the local 1/2 Ironman. Everything about this property was rated excellent from all 12 in our party: kitchen, great room, beds and baths, basement gathering, deck, and the lakeside park-like area with dock. We also loved the area with its location so close to Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, Leland and the surrounds. We all plan to come back and will book again if the group is large enough.

Beautiful location on a beautiful lake with access to nearby hiking, biking and great wineries!

Josh was great to work with. Very responsive and informative. The house was lovely with a large kitchen for my grown family. We loved Glen Lake and rented a boat for a few days to enjoy the swimming and exploring. Would definitely rent this house again it was a great week!

Beautiful home on Big Glen Lake

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home across from Big Glen Lake. We had plenty of room for 11 adults. The home was well equipped with so many nice amenities & fantastic views! The lake front had a nice dock, picnic table, fire pit, & space for fun yard games. The location is a short 5 minute drive to Glen Arbor. The area is gorgeous with so many fun activities ..dunes, lakes. Trails, biking, walking, kayaking etc. josh was great to work with. We highly recommend!!
