This peaceful little cabin is nestled in a groove of oaks, facing a meadow and a meandering spring creek and a lighted fishing hole. It has a lot of privacy, an outdoor firepit, outdoor seating, trees, and a porch with a view of the meadow and creek. You may see an occasional grazing cow and there’s plenty of hiking, fishing and bird watching. Bring the old fishing pole. The cottage is extremely private, with a fresh water well, and state- of- the- art indoor heating and cooling. The roof and ceiling of the cottage are repurposed with antique barn tin. The cottage is furnished with old family antiques dating back to the late 1800’s. There’s a full kitchen with a beautiful, add-on, pioneer kitchen table. The kitchen is furnished with a Keurig and a microwave for those who really want to get back to basics, but not too far back! There is no wifi here. This place is not a hotel, but an old, refurbished cabin, smack dab in the middle of a working ranch! Don't be surprised if a cow greets you as you step outside the cabin for your morning coffee. We do not have fences around the cabin. Please be mindful of this if you bring your fuzzy babies along. This cottage is a true get away. A rugged yet chic, old yet modern, unplugged place to retreat. Come here and trim down, reprioritize and find your purpose again!

We had our wedding last weekend at the Knibbe Ranch and it just so worked out that there are 2 cabins on the property. The cabins are so cozy and warm and it feels so peaceful being out here. I loved every minute of my stay and I can’t thank Shannon enough for her hospitality! We met at the gate coming in and my sister and I were kinda lost! lol but Shannon was so friendly and helpful and she guided us on how to get to the cabin. I will definitely be back to stay!
Very clean, excellent customer service, Shannon was able to work with me on the date I preferred to stayed for a weekend. I highly recommend a weekend at this property and I will absolutely rent again for years to come! My family absolutely enjoyed their time here!
Great hosts! Had issue with AC when first arrived, they fixed problem and came back with extra heaters just in case. Lots of deer and peace were to be found. Look forward to coming out again next time I need to decompress.
What a peaceful, tranquil and serene place. A babbling creek in front and no internet. The only thing better would have been the sound of raindrops on the tin roof. We had a hay barn I woul take naps, in my youth, listening to that relaxing sound. The amenities were great. Temperatures dipped between mid to low thirties and the heater worked.Couldn't have picked a better place to stay..Thank You!
Very accurate description and enjoyable stay. Was able to enjoy the peace of outdoors in a nice relaxing cabin, close to Natural Bridge Caverns and other local good eats.
