Beachfront 4 bedroom home, sleeps up to 9

Due to a new Carlsbad City rule, the house cannot have more than five occupants upstairs and 5 occupants downstairs. The maximum total house occupancy will be 9 people.

Tax is 10% plus $1 a night per bedroom
Cleaning fee is $300 upstairs and $225 downstairs and $500 for 4 bedroom 4 bath
To reserve time, pay 50% rent. 60 days prior to rental date, pay remaining rent, tax, cleaning and security deposit.

Refund policy: rent is refunded if time reserved is re-rented.

3021 Ocean Street is a 2 story beachfront property that sits at the northern end of Carlsbad State Beach. Completely renovated as of January 2013. Enjoy fresh beach-cottage style in the best location in Carlsbad! The house is beach front and walking distance to the village of Carlsbad, with a variety of dining and shopping options. The house also sits about a block and a half from the public boardwalk that runs along the coast, where you can walk/run with expansive ocean views. The property can be rented weekly or monthly as a single 4 bedroom / 4 bath home or as two individual 2 bedroom / 2 bath units. All units have private deck space, BBQ, and access to the jacuzzi. There are also two communal deck areas.

Upstairs: master bedroom with king bed and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pacific ocean. Master bath includes sunken tub and full shower. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Full kitchen, large living room, second full bathroom, large patio deck overlooking ocean. Living room has a sleeper sofa.

Downstairs: master bedroom with a king bed and full bath, 180 degree ocean views. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and full bath. Full kitchen, large living room, large patio deck overlooking ocean. Living room has a sleeper sofa.

**Rents weekly only, Saturday to Saturday, no exceptions. No smoking, no pets, no parties. Maximum people allowed on premise for 2 bedroom unit is 5; maximum people allowed on premise for 4 bedroom is 9.

Awesome views and access to beach

Came here on spring break with my husband, daughter and her friends. Loved being able to have the girls in a separate space than us and the access to the beach, downtown Carlsbad and the views can’t be beat! We had a great time!

Perfect beach rental

My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed renting this house over the years. It is perfectly located on the beach, walking distance to great food and a couple cute shops. The most important thing is to book in advance so you get the dates you want before the house books up.

The location was amazing! The house accommodated our two family group perfectly with the upstairs and downstairs similar setup. It was great having the garage as well. Vicki was amazingly responsive and accommodating. Great experience.

If you like being right on beach, this place is amazing!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The house was so warm and inviting and a perfect beach vacation. I appreciated how well stocked both the upstairs and downstairs were. Vicki has gone extra mile with making this home feel like home. Everything from the dishes to towels was good quality. I will definitely return to quaint village of Carlsbad and this great house. Don’t think twice, just rent this place.

I spent Thanksgiving week here with my wife, my parents, and my sister's family and I can only say that I am most thankful that Vicki lists this property on VRBO. Short & flat walking distance to town for my mom with bad knees... Check! Right on the beach for my nephews... Check! Along a safe, wide path to run along for my dad... Check! Enough space and an ocean view for my brother-in-law to work from home... Check! Within a mile from my wife’s favorite surf spot... Check! I had my expectations low when I saw the pictures because I assumed they were heavily edited and looked too good to be true. BOY WAS I WRONG! Not only does this place looks exactly like it does in the pictures, but the pictures don't even capture the true beauty of the peaceful sunrises and magnificent sunsets. Vicki is a great host with a great property. Don’t think twice, just rent this place.

Best beach house ever. Really.

It’s hard to think of something that could make this property better. We were a party of 2 families with 6 kids between us, and the layout was perfect for us. Direct beach access, 2-minute walk to town and great restaurants, fabulous hot tub. The views from every room are stunning. Kitchens were stocked with all of the cooking stuff we needed; gas fireplaces made it cozy on cold nights; everything was super super clean. Beach towels provided. Huge master bath upstairs, tubs in all 4 bathrooms. We can’t wait to come back.

Family Thanksgiving

Our family had a great Thanksgiving at the beach in Carlsbad. This lovely home offered plenty of space for everyone and the perfect location. We had six adults and 5 children. No fights and no one got sick. In our family that sums up a perfect family vacation. Hope to return soon. Thank you!

Carlsbad Village at it's best

We rented the upstairs unit for a month and could not have been more pleased. Vicki was very accommodating and the place was spotless. The housekeepers did a great job, and Robert, who maintains the outside every Saturday, was very thorough. You could not ask for a better location for access to the world class beach, not to mention the close proximity to Carlsbad Village and all it has to offer. We did not get in a car for the first 12 days we were here! The Coaster is a mere three block walk, so more than once we took it to San Diego and other points South. We had house guests twice, and there was plenty of privacy. The sunsets were so stunning we ended up cooking dinner more than we had planned. Overall, El Niño cooperated fully, and we are coming back in 2017.

Didn't want to come home

We stayed in the downstairs unit 5/16/15 - 5/23/15 and everything was excellent. I agree with the previous comments - beautiful beach house, perfect location, very clean and bright, had everything we needed, and Vicki was great to work with. Everything was exactly as advertised. We hated to leave and will definitely look at booking it again next year.

Amazing beachfront home

My wife and 3 of our young grandkids spent a week in the lower 1/2 of the home August 16-23, 2014, and enjoyed the home and its location immensely. The beach front location is unbelievable. Everything is clean, well maintained, and easy to use. One of the best features was the washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware, and everything worked! The downtown location with so much within walking distance was great too.

Great Oceanfront Getaway!

Our family rented the upstairs unit for a week this may and it was just fantastic! The rental unit was just great! And it was the best! were just the best! Skylights everywhere kept the unit bathed in daylight! And the location is the best. We stay in Carlsbad at least twice a year and was the best stay ever. The owner was great to deal with and went out of her way to make our stay as easy as possible! Thank You and see you next year!!

Our Carlsbad Beach Vacation

I wanted to let you know how much fun we had at your place in Carlsbad. We loved everything you did to your beach house. It is so bright and airy! We loved the new floors, all your new furnishings and appliances. Our grandkids look forward the the stay at your place each year. We are talking about renting again next year. We won't be wanting the 4th of July weekend, since we are planning a party at our mountain cabin near Flagstaff 2014. But, if you would let me know if the week before or after the 4th is available I'd like to rent your beach house again.

Great location, great house

My family of five spent a week here and had a great time. The house is in an ideal location, right on the beach with amazing views from nearly every room, plus the ability to walk to restaurants and Carlsbad's cute downtown. We also loved the jacuzzi with ocean views! We will be back!
