Enjoy the perfect combination of privacy and easy beach access. Our home is located in a quiet culdesac just minutes from Tamarack Beach! Enjoy some early morning fishing at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon for Sea Bass and Halibut. Your Coffee will still be hot when you get there because its 300 feet away. Or walk another 4 minutes along the lagoon trail to play, surf or Boogie board two of the funnest breaks in all of San Diego at Famous Tamarack Beach.
Of course if your in the mood to just relax at home you'll enjoy sitting on the front porch reading a good book. Or sit by your own private heated tropical pool with 8' waterfall. Or truly relax in your private jetted spa nestled within in a wonderful rock feature grotto.
When your ready for lunch or dinner walk to Carlsbad's Vigilucci's Italian Resteraunt or drive along the coast one mile to the Village of Carlsbad for everything from Sushi to Great Mexican Food. And I mean REAL Mexican Food. Or keep it simple and pick up some Steaks and Burgers and BBQ out back for Dinner by the Pool or fire pit.

This is a great place for family stay. The pool is fabulous. the beach is walking distance and Legoland is just a few miles away. We had an awesome time.

Beautiful Beachy Home Perfect For Families

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the large kitchen/ family room, which was perfect for our family meals. The outdoor fire pit was so nice for the cool evenings. The pool was great & the hot tub grotto was so cool!.

Family vacation

The house had everything we needed to accommodate the 10 of us. My grandkids couldn’t get enough of the pool. Short walk for my fisherman son to fish . And the neighborhood was super quiet

Celebrating 4th of July 2025

I couldn’t have asked for a perfect place to enjoy with family. We were walking distance to the beach. And only 5 mins to stores etc.. absolutely loved the pool spent a lot of time relaxing and barbecuing. Definitely coming back! This is a dream property!! We feel so lucky that Janet hosts so generously. We had a smooth check in, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances we wish we had at our own home. Minutes walk to the lagoon and beach, even walked into town multiple times along the beach. But the backyard!! The pool, tub, couches, grill, twinkly lights, we felt we were at our own private resort. Thank you for helping make our family getaway so magical! We hope to return and make it an annual reunion.

Large kitchen, great hot tub

This house is in a perfect location with walking distance to the beach we love the hot tub and swimming pool, which you can control the temperature from the house. The backyard cooking area is perfect for the large families. I would rent this house again

We booked this house for my parents 50th anniversary. They wanted to spend time with their children and grandchildren to celebrate. This was the perfect house. It is close to the lagoon and beach, the walk is gorgeous. When we weren’t at the beach the pool kept everyone entertained. So many memories were made and we can’t wait to return.

Family get away

Excellent location, beautiful pool and great kitchen. Short walk to beach and town and easy to explore nearby sites. Couldn’t get the grill to work and a bit dusty, but a very lovely place for our family - including a 2 year old and 4 young adults. Bo us points for a great selection of toys!

Fantastic stay

So happy to find this gem - the backyard with the pool, hot tub and other amenities was especially great. Well located for an easy walk to the beach, and close to all main attractions. We had a terrific stay and will stay again.

Perfect beach vacation spot!

We travel frequently and stay in many vacation rentals and this is on the top of our list. The location, house amenities and the backyard were just perfect! The pool and hot tub were such a hit with everyone - and the pool was heated!! What a bonus. We enjoyed being able to get to the beach in 5 minutes and then coming back to the house to BBQ and swim. The communication with the owner was quick and professional. Do yourself a favor and check out this rental next time you are in San Diego!!

Off the beaten path, our home is located on a quiet culdesac street located on a low lying bluff overlooking the beautiful Agua Hedionda Lagoon. A peaceful walk along the spacious lagoon trail gets you to the beach in 5 minutes. Surf, boogie board, or swim at Famous Tamarck Beach. It really is the best spot in Carlsbad!
