Everything was as described and clean. Nice cabin. (The bathroom/ shower arrangement is a little awkward for that many people - 2 showers shared each bathroom.) Overall a good stay.
Our family of 4 had a delightful time with grand room for privacy AND Great spaces to be social. From cooking and cleaning, playing pool together to a movie for all- exactly to right space for all sizes of families
Great house for large groups. Unique design worked well. Kitchen well stocked. Enjoyed the firewood and fireplace. Needs more/bigger outside trash cans.
We love it for our large group. Well-stocked kitchen and large island. Love everything about the cabin. Eric is a great communicator as well...which is a HUGE PLUS for us as we are a fairly unpredictable group. We are at our client's mercy of when/where/how, etc. Hope to book for next year if client books us again.
Had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and had lots of room. It was close enough to run to Walmart for anything we needed, but quiet and remote. The pool table and darts were nice for rainy days.
Great cabin stay. Having been built by the owner with wood from the property was very interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. We were blessed to see two doe walking in the back yard on our last morning. Would stay again.
The cabin is everything we could have hoped for as a big group celebrating Octoberfest in Helen. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. There’s plenty of space for everyone to sit together, play games and enjoy a meal together. Looking forward to future visits!
We had a great time at this cabin! We had 6 people- 4 adults and 2 children. It’s well situated in the area with short drives to several parks and towns. We even extended our stay by a day in order to take advantage of some hiking. Plenty of beds in the cabin as well as space for the kids to play. Well stocked with towels and blankets, and definitely the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had at a Vrbo. Highly recommend!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids and the guys loved the pool table and dart board. It was a nice surprise to have so many supplies already in the kitchen. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to bring the family or friends.
NOur accommodation in this residence was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, as the ambiance is truly remarkable. Waking up each morning in the heart of the forest, surrounded by a variety of wildlife, provided us with a one-of-a-kind experience. My family and I appreciated the numerous locations and trails to explore on the premises, as well as the proximity to various attractions. We look forward to the possibility of returning in the near future. Additionally, I would like to express our gratitude for the owner's hospitality and the amenities provided within the home. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your residence.
Clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed the house and all the amenities (especially the pool table). Recommend labelling all the light switches and installing a fan/exhaust on the stove (kept tripping the smoke alarm). Overall, a great experience and would recommend others to stay here. The layout was perfect for encouraging group interaction.
My family and I stayed at this cabin for our vacation to Helen. It was the perfect place. We had 9 adults and a 15 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone without being cramped. Plenty of sleeping options also. The cabin was well stocked with anything we needed. It’s very clean and beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice! Owner was easy to get in touch with and quickly responded throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this cabin.
My parents, siblings, and our children (8 adults, 9 children ages 8 and under) stayed here 5 nights. The bunk bed room was perfect for all the older kids, and each queen bed room was spacious enough for the adults. There was a bottle of wine there for us to enjoy as well as many other amenities like kitchen spices, paper towels, foil, laundry detergent, etc. I contacted Eric for a question about check in and he called me immediately to help (it was not a difficult check in process at all, I just had a question about something). It's a beautiful house but we spent most of the time on the porch to enjoy the amazing weather and nature. Ideal location with close access to awesome hiking, the appalachian trail, and the town of Helen. Would definitely stay again.
The house was great and close to our wedding venue. The owner accommodated our needs to check in early as it was a wedding weekend with lots to get ready for!

Why they chose this property
This location is on the 100 mile bicycle route and centered between 4 mountain passes. It’s a proximity to Helen and application trail made a perfect spot. Many people who service all the cabin in N GA have been by and everyone says they haven't seen anything like it. Unique and a great place to visit year after year. Sleeps 12 on the first floor. Has a loft and pool table.
What makes this property unique
If you're a cycling team you are nestled in the center of Neel Gap, Wolfpen Gap, Jacks Gap and the hog daddy, Hogpen Gap. All climbs to keep you trained up. Also there are three entrances to the Appalachian Trail and many water falls to visit just a short way away.
