This rental was so much better than staying in a hotel. It was wonderful having plenty of room to hang out with my daughter and son in law who we don’t get to see all that often. With plenty of room for everyone, it was quiet and serene in a most beautiful setting.
Property was good, however, it was not the property we reserved. The reserved property had water problems and the management company was able to move the reservation to a nearby property which was good.

Could've been better!
Dishes dirty, stuff just stuffed in cabinets and closest, hot water heater broke last night of stay and was not resolved. Light bulbs burnt out, scribbling and scuffs on the walls, broke light bulbs, broken fan in the kitchen, coffee pot looked like it had never been cleaned
We had a wonderful experience! We booked at the last minute due to a change in holiday travel plans on our part. We had a couple of technical difficulties (mainly user-caused) that Jeff patiently walked us through. The house was cozy, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of five to be able to spread out but still feel together. We had everything we needed, and Jeff sent us a wealth of information on local places to check out and places that were family-friendly. The resort area is gorgeous; our kids loved walking the golf course at night searching for lost golf balls. It was a memorable experience! My only regret is that we weren’t there longer.
the home smelled of chemicals the linens had a chemical odor as well. The air filters were filled with dust and dirt Mop boards dust covered All those with allergies suffered
Cozy mountain retreat with golf views. This house is in the perfect location for a delightful getaway. Being tucked in the woods with golf fairway on either side of the property, gives a complete sense of privacy yet maintains the Wintergreen ambiance. The inside of the house is a real treat equipped with everything you need for a perfect time away from home. Jeff is very attentive and quick to respond. We highly recommend this stay and look forward to returning again.
We used the house as a base for several day excursions and even an overnight on the Atlantic coast. But, the location in the woods in the mountains made it difficult to get going on our adventures. It is so quiet and calm here that you have to fight the urge to have a pajama day every day. Thank you for sharing your home.
First off, Jeff is a great host. VERY helpful and you can tell he wants you to really enjoy their home. We joked that this house isn't "on" the golf course - it's IN the golf course. So beautiful being surrounded by lush green grass on both sides and being able to watch people play golf from the porch, the family room, and the sunroom. I imagine this is an amazing place for sledding in the winter as well.
The hiking here was great. Plus, there are so many different wineries, distilleries and breweries that are just a short drive away. Love that most of them have a family vibe with lots for the kids to do as well.
Squeaky clean, very comfortable beds, great layout and a great host. Highly recommend!
