About this property

The Heather @ Water 65, Tiny Home walk to downtown

Experience a one-of-a-kind retreat within a semi-private, adults-only tiny home compound. Encircled by an elegant 8-foot decorative fence on three sides and bordered by a serene river on the fourth, this space offers a distinctive environment for relaxation, fireside gatherings, hot tub indulgence, outdoor grilling, and convenient access to downtown Waynesville's antique shops, craft breweries, and upscale dining venues—all within walking distance.

Nestled approximately 3 miles from Maggie Valley, this haven provides breathtaking views of nearby mountain attractions, with Asheville just 25 miles away. Newly constructed in 2021, this space boasts high-end finishes including hardwood floors, a beautifully tiled shower with glass doors, sleek solid surface countertops, and a unique and inviting loft showcasing a luxurious king-sized bed. Additionally, there's a private master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, complemented by modern amenities such as a fireplace with a large screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen featuring a coffee maker, blender, dishes, and cookware, as well as a washer/dryer for convenience.

Step onto the covered back porch adorned with a ceiling fan and a spacious dining table for six, or grill your favorite meals outdoors using the private grill. Guests will receive unique codes for accessing the main gate and their individual home. Waynesville, North Carolina, the largest town in Western North Carolina, beckons with its charming downtown, offering a delightful array of local boutiques, gift shops, farm-to-table restaurants, and a vibrant craft beer scene.

For those drawn to outdoor adventures, Waynesville's proximity to hiking trails, waterfalls, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway makes it an ideal base. The town hosts captivating events like the Folkmoot U.S.A. celebration, featuring world dance and music performances in July, along with entertaining Mountain Street Dances on select summer nights. Winter enthusiasts can explore nearby attractions like the Cataloochee Ski Area and Tube World in Maggie Valley.

Please note, this resort is exclusively for adults aged 16 and above. Regrettably, pets are not permitted on the premises due to various considerations, including the inability to vet every animal. While the 8-foot decorative fence aims to create an oasis, occasional activity at the nearby gas station and plant across the street may be noticed, a compromise for the convenience of proximity to downtown and the river.
