About this property

Exclusive Chalet with amazing view

Our lovely and cosy Chalet is located on Benkner hill. You get an amazing view of the swiss alps.

Die Wohnräume befinden sich auf zwei Geschossen (75m2). Im Eingangsgeschoss sind Küche – total ausgestattet mit Küchenutensilien -, Wohn- Essbereich, zwei Schlafzimmer so wie ein neues WC / Dusche situiert. Weiters gibt es einen grossen Balkon.

Im Obergeschoss sind nochmals zwei mögliche Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei zusätzlichen Dachflächenfenstern. Im ersten ‚Durchgangszimmer‘ befindet sich ein Fernseher. Gratis Internet und sowie Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Im Keller gibt es eine Waschmaschine und Platz um die Wäsche zu trocknen.

Hier werden auch die Sonnenstühle aufbewahrt die im Garten des Chalets beliebig verwendet werden können.

Im Dorf Benken gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Spar, Metzgerei, Bäckerei, …) Raiffeisenbank, Post und einen Arzt.

In den Restaurants in Benken werden unter anderem lokale Spezialitäten angeboten. Etwas urchig aber gemütlich gibt es im Sommer jeweils Freitags das Güggeliessen im Doggen auf dem Hof der Familie Kamer.

Das Chalet ist im Jahr 1981 erstellt und 2007 innen komplett und zum grossen Teil auch aussen renoviert worden. Es wurde seinerzeit als Ferienhaus geplant und von einem Zimmereibetrieb aus dem nahen Toggenburg in der damaligen, typischen Holzbauweise der Region, fachgerecht und handwerklich bodenständig realisiert.

Great central place

Great place. It is a good central location, as Zurich, Zug, Lucerne , Chur, Appenzell and more are all about an hour's drive away. You can also take nice walks in the nearby area. The house is comfortable and quiet, has great view, and the owner's father, who lives nearby, is very helpful and informative.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir waren im Herbst im Chalet und haben den Aufenthalt genossen - beginnend beim freundlichen Vermieter bis hin zur Unterkunft selbst, die im rustikalen Stil daherkommt und einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck macht. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir benötigt haben. Auch der Blick vom Balkon Richtung Tal und Berge ist lohnenswert. Als Bonus kann man sein eAuto vor Ort laden.
