Places of interest and fun things to see nearby:
Monroe, Utah, United States Points of Interest are: Mystic Hotsprings 2 min drive; 15 min walk Paiute ATV Trail (Jamboree is in August) Fish Lake (1 hour drive) Bullion Falls ( 1/2 hour drive to Marysvale) Monroe Mountain: Monroe Peak (1 hr drive) and Manning Meadow Reservoir (1 hour drive and only minutes away from Monroe Peak) Bryce Canyon National Park (1 hour 40 min drive) Capitol Reef National Park (1 1/2 hour drive) Zions National Park ( 2 1/2 hour drive) Calf Creek Falls ( 2 1/2 hour drive) Butch Cassidy’s childhood home (45 min)
Monroe has a small grocery store called “GGs” for all your grocery needs and a gas station with small grill eatery inside both locations.
There is a great outdoor city park with kids slides and playground and a local splash pad, a famous food joint "Bullies", and Green Valley Gas station, which also serves yummy food for breakfast and lunch. The city pond is great for family fishing, just a mile up the road.
Richfield City Mountain Bike Trails, Fremont Indian State Park, Big Rock Candy Mountain, rent an ATV and ride wherever Fish Lake is 45 minutes away, Mystic Hot Springs, if it's a clear night. I know they got mixed reviews, but they have cool claw foot tubs on the hill that you can soak in and see the Milky Way. If it's not clear, don't spend the money and go to Red Hills Hot Springs. There might be a random 80's band or talented family-oriented musician at the Sevier Valley Center, or community theater at the high school. The only bar is Bar 86 in Richfield, they have decent food, pool tables, and karaoke. Jorgensen's is fun for bowling and also has an arcade. Cove View Golf Course has spectacular views and is fun to play. There are several decent restaurants including Frontier Village, Steve's Steakhouse, and Sagebrush Grill al also in Richfield 15 min away. It's a small town in rural Utah, and everything that implies.

Everything was great about our stay, we really enjoyed the house. It was clean, the bedding was nice and the house had everything we needed. The tv had was huge and had all the shows that we like to watch. The location was perfect to be able to visit Mystic Hot Springs and Red Hill Hot Springs. We really liked Bullies Drive In. It was great!
The stay was actually much better than I anticipated. There was a lot of space, perfect communication from the host. It was very clean and I felt completely safe with kids. I would absolutely stay again in the future.
We were traveling with kids and family to Utah for a wrestling tournament and this house was absolutely perfect for our group. Clean comfortable and we will try staying here again next year!
The Monroe House was comfortable, clean and well equipped for our stay. We enjoyed the quaint town and the location is perfect for day trips to many National parks, Where we enjoyed
hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery. We would return to
the house where we had all the amenities of home to rest, and enjoy games, relax in the cute backyard under the patio and make more happy memories.
Two friends and I stayed here for a night while traveling to Monroe to visit the Hot Spring. We were really happy with all the nice amenities the home had to offer, especially the fire pit! We purchased wood from a nearby store and sat outside for a long time in the evening after our spa visit. We felt safe at the house and would definitely considering staying again if in the area!
Upon arrival we seen police officers blocking off the main street with barricades, a bit disconcerting until we learned they were creating basketball courts for a 3 on 3 kids tournament. It was such a neat experience. Wonder home and community.

Thanks for staying with us. The 24th of July weekend in Monroe is amazing. I’m glad you got to experience a little bit of it while you were here. Come back next year and enjoy the weekend. It won’t disappoint :).
We had a sibling reunion (6 Adults) for our Aunt's Birthday. The house was as advertised- Wonderful experience, we loved the decor and the fire pit was perfect - the only issue at all is there are some weird partial steps going in and out of several rooms- we learned to navigate them and it was great- when in the area we'd love to stay there again -and we were all pleased - we highly recommend this property when in the Area!

The home was more up to date and comfortable than the pics show. The home is very cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were nice. The property has plenty of room to park a trailer and unload several UTV’s. There were fun trails and it was close to the canyon ATV trails. We went up and played in 12 in of snow and the kids had a blast. The scenery was amazing. You can drive right up to the free hot springs. You wouldn’t was to hike to them in your flip flops. Unfortunately, the local gas station is closed so we had to drive 5.5 miles to get fuel. The local grocery store is close but very small. Richfield is not too far away for other necessities. The owners were extremely nice and attentive.
We loved staying here. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room. We loved playing games. We would stay here again.
The accomodations were very nice for me and my family. We really appreciate the personal service that our host provided. Thanks.

Married for over 25 years we use this house as our second home and love the area. We are original locals who also have a home in SLC that we live in full time. We love the area and use the property as much as we can as we love the country living of Monroe. We are working professionals but love to take time away to be in our hometown.
Why they chose this property
Our property is ideally located. Whether you want to go to the Mystic Hot springs that are within walking distance or ride your ATV up the mountain or take the Piute Trail this place is amazing.
