Beautiful cabin! Perfect for our family trip. We had a blast with the basement game room. And thoroughly enjoyed the hiking nearby. Looking at planning a family Thanksgiving next year! Will definitely stay again.
Our whole family loved this rental. It had more than enough space for our large group. The rooms, bathrooms and amenities are top notch. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a larger family.
This lodge was amazing for my family & friend’s weekend getaway. It was so spacious. The hot tub was awesome. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely stay here again
The property is as advertised, we had a great time and all the amenities were available for use. The space was clean and had plenty of space if you're getting a large group together for a fun weekend.
Was an amazing property. Lots of comfy beds, quality towels and all the necessary amenities. Internet was spotty which made watching football difficult. Definitely need some outdoor lights. Even some solar lights along the path to parking would be helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.
There were 13 of us for a family reunion staying this weekend. We all had such a great time. Very comfortable for all of us. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We would stay here again. My only suggestion would be handrails on steps to downstairs and a way off the back deck if there were a fire.
We were able to bring together 8 families for some quality time over a long weekend. Everyone was entertained. The kids loved the bunk rooms and the ping pong table. The adults took advantage of the comfortable couches for group video games and naps.
This was the perfect place to host a weekend getaway with friends. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and pulled off a fun surprise. The property had everything we needed and plenty of space where everyone could gather as a group. There are a lot of very specific rules associated with the property, so I would be mindful of that!
We arrived on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Left on Sunday.
It is not doable for 20 to sit together. That is during cold and in lent weather. Every one loved big shower. However no chair grab bar for elderly. No good for 90t year olds or people on crutches.
Outside on grounds someone had dumped food …green beans and yams? Noticed on last day. Too cold to go out
Had a great time.
We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of spacious bedrooms and family time space. We found fun local activities and enjoyed games at the lodge. Also, what a great view of the June “strawberry moon”!
The only thing I would note is that the stairs are a bit steep (for anyone with mobility issues) - this includes stairs leading to the porch and in the interior of the house; and the master bath has no handrail. Also, if you have toddlers, bring something to block the staircases. The back decks are fully enclosed which was great, so no worries for little ones there.
(Note to Lodge caretakers - take a look at the refrigerator; the flap on the left door does not attach properly at the top unless you fix it by hand which lets the cold air seep out and spoils the milk. Should be a simple thing to fix.)
Thanks for the quick responses to questions. We had a fabulous time. I would recommend the property to others!
Overall, great open floor concept layout and beautiful interior. Large front and back decks. The kitchen was slightly on the small size with the only refrigerator on site. The freezer door was loud and difficult to close. The fridge was missing all the door shelves for drinks/condiments. For max occupationcy, we had to utilize our coolers for cold drinks during our 3 day stay. Someone came to spray for weeds around the house and fire pit shortly after our arrival so the kids had to wait to play outside around the house and delayed us building a campfire. There are bats living in the porch ceiling beams that drop onto the porch. It’s part of nature but beware if you see it so you don’t step in it. There is a pond but it is all grown up around and definitely not easy to get to. My husband tried to clear a path but we didn’t allow the kids to go. Otherwise, the bedrooms are spacious and cozy. The bathrooms are nice. 3 showers for 24 people was a bit of a challenge though. There are about 5 front porch steps. The back porches are enclosed entirely with railing. The fire pit is nice with 3 benches for seating.

Why they chose this property
Liberty Lodge is the perfect space for your family or group of friends. With its large great room on the main floor and a separate rec room with a pool table and a ping pong table, there is plenty for everyone to do. It has a very large yard for kids to play in and multiple decks. there is an 8-person hot tub outside on the main deck. This lodge is situated on the same road as our Pine hollow Lodge and our Bison Lodge. The 3 could be rented together for a family reunion. We do not allow large bachelor or bachelorette parties or parties with live music or a DJ. There is law enforcement close by and they monitor this for us.
