The property was beautiful. It is wheelchair accessible as far as the ramp. The carpet on the floors was not manual wheelchair friendly, but I have a power chair and used it to get around. There are 2 walk in showers and I was able to get to the master bath one, but tight hallway kept me from other bedrooms and bathrooms. There were no grab bars in either shower which I am very dependent on. We had one glitch with the septic and it was taken care of in record time. All in all it was a great place for us to spend time together with plenty of seating both for eating, watching television, visiting with each other and sleeping. I would recommend it for young or old with just a be aware for someone wheelchair dependent.

Loved this spacious, cozy cabin so much!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was the perfect size for our group of 18 people with plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The living room was absolutely beautiful and became our favorite spot to all hang out together, relax, and spend time as a group. The property itself was just as great as the cabin. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. Everything felt well set up for large groups, and the atmosphere was both cozy

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the nearby hiking, despite the rainy weather.

The lodge provided more than enough space for our group of 9 ladies. And we had everything we needed. We were thrilled that the pool was still open for us and the hot tub was delightful.

We stayed at The Meadows in Rockbridge for a special 50th birthday weekend. The property itself is beautiful, and we were excited about our stay, but unfortunately several maintenance issues made the experience disappointing, especially considering the amount we paid. The bathroom outlets did not work, and the AC on an entire side of the house was not functioning properly, leaving that area extremely hot and uncomfortable. There was significant ice buildup on the AC line, which we documented with photos and video. The maintenance technician came out, personally saw the ice, and told us he would return, but he never did. We were later told that maintenance reported everything was “all good,” even though the AC issue was clearly not resolved and that side of the house remained very hot.We contacted management multiple times and received apologies, but by the time another maintenance visit was offered, it was late in the day and we were checking out at 11 a.m. the following morning.Things can go wrong at any rental, and we understand that. What was most disappointing was the lack of follow-through after the problems were reported. For the price of this stay, we expected working AC throughout the home, functioning outlets, and a maintenance issue this significant to be resolved promptly. The property is lovely and we still made the most of our weekend, but the experience did not meet our expectations.
