Truly a fabulous location - just across the street from White Sands Beach, aka Magic Sands Beach! But, it is also a uniquely private and romantic offering in a garden setting! Our unit is tranquil perfection after a busy day touring the Big Island, or a long day at the beach! Fantastic for you to revel in the sounds of nature. Enjoy a gorgeous view from inside unit and of course, from the comfort of the lanai!
White Sands Village Condominiums are across from one of the finest beaches on the Kona coast, 700 feet away from White Sands Beach! At times, the sand mysteriously disappears-this is why the locals call it "Magic Sands." Enjoying sunning, swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling in the clear blue water is a must.
Our 1208 square foot home is located on the second floor of the Kuakini building of White Sands Village (WSV). Of the three buildings in this complex, this building is set off the main road and our unit especially is uniquely nestled in a garden setting. The view from the lanai is of the manicured gardens and the spectacular blue waters of the beautiful Pacific Ocean!!
We live here part-time and it shows! This tastefully decorated and updated unit is fully equipped to feel like a home away from home! The condo has been impeccably maintained and professionally cleaned in preparation for your arrival.
This home gives you a spacious Master bedroom with a supremely comfortable King size bed, a beautiful, private Master bath with a large standalone shower. It has just been updated with a 50" flatscreen Smart TV, as well. The Master bath includes a full-size washer and dryer. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a new, wonderfully comfortable King size bed, and now has a 30" flatscreen TV. There is a full, updated 2nd bathroom that includes a bathtub and shower.
The spacious, relaxing, living room is the perfect place to unwind after a full day in the sun and plan the next day's activities. With a new 65" UHD Smart TV, (not yet shown in pics) Cable, and a DVD player. We also provide free, 500 Mbps High speed WiFi.
Open the sliding doors and enjoy the trade winds of the Pacific, often including the fragrance of Plumeria! Or, turn on the also new, quiet, and Energy-efficient Central Air-Conditioner, for a cooler evening!!
The storage chest on the lanai is fully stocked with a large variety of beach and swim equipment, boogie boards, noodles, snorkels, fins, sand shoes, etc. for your use. Provided are coolers, sun umbrellas and back-pack style beach chairs.
Need to mix in a little work and play? The living room is set up with a business-ready, adjustable, standing or sitting desk off to the side, including a 27" monitor and an Epson color printer.
The amenities at WSV include a gorgeous, heated, salt-water pool, an outdoor hot tub, a sauna, billiards, multiple BBQ stations, and manicured gardens. Our 2 Sport Courts are restored & available again!! Tennis Regulation Nets! Plus: New addition: Lined for Pickleball!
This concrete constructed building is very quiet, safe and secure! There are surveillance cameras in the parking lots, at the pool and hot tub area, and evening security, to ensure everyone's peace of mind. This unit comes with one covered parking space, a large private lanai, and access to all the fabulous amenities of White Sands Estates. Day-use guest parking is also available.
Just three and a half miles north on Alii Drive is the charming and picturesque village of Kailua-Kona. One mile south, a 10-minute walk from WSV, is the famous, protected snorkeling beach, Kahaluu. Kahaluu Beach Park offers easy access to the undersea population of green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish of every description. After a glorious day in the sun, it is a short, 5-minute stroll down to the White Sands Beach to watch a breath-taking Kona sunset! If you get lucky, you may see the famous green flash.
The historic and beautiful town of Kailua-Kona, just 3.5 miles north on Alii Drive, offers fine dining, shopping, nightlife, excursions, local art, and a local farmer's market. The market offers an abundance of locally grown fresh tropical fruits and the world-famous Kona Coffee. Just 2 miles to the south you will find Keauhou shopping center. Keauhou offers a modern grocery store, a drug store, boutiques, cinemas, ice cream shops and various restaurants.
White Sands Village is a strictly, 100% Non-Smoking, Non-Vaping Property. Smokers MUST step completely away from, and off of, the property. Complex-wide quiet hours are to be observed 10pm-8am. We truly thank you for adhering to these important Condo community and Aloha Good Neighbor policies!
**PLEASE note that our unit is unfortunately NOT handicap accessible. The building does have elevator service to each of our 3 floors, but our condo is not wheelchair or walker accessible due to one small set of stairs up to the landing.

We have both lived in the Seattle area for 30+ years, and LOVE to travel to sunny, warm places -especially Kona - to get away from the rain, cold, and grey skies! We most appreciate the perfect temperatures for outdoor activity 360 days a year, and that our home is in the perfect location for all kinds of travelers!
Why they chose this property
We are so happy to have our own condo as an oasis, and to introduce others to this wonderful spot! We have been visiting Kona since our Honeymoon, years ago. We love the Island and the Aloha spirit in this wonderful community and are excited to share it with others. When we rented at White Sands Village for the 1st time, we immediately felt at home. Such a fabulous property! Safe, near shopping, close to town, and across the street from a beautiful beach, the most accessible, fun volleyball court in the area, and great boogie boarding waves. We were thrilled when this unit came open! We particularly enjoy its location towards the back, for its privacy and nature-filled surroundings. It is one of the most prized units at the complex, for those of us that want a true "get-away". We have also enjoyed visiting Puerta Vallarta, getting to know the people there, until the pandemic made travel to Mexico less appealing. After using VRBO for years, both personally, and for annual family gatherings from different states, we knew it would be an easy, straightforward, and reliable way for our guests to make travel arrangements.

It is also especially important to remember this is a strictly, entirely non-smoking property, with quiet hours from 10pm-8am, however. Having stayed at the complex in other units and buildings, we know you will enjoy the privacy and quiet that we, our neighbors, and our guests most desire after long days playing in the ocean, lounging in the sun, playing tennis, touring the island, or shopping! Our condo also provides a fully stocked kitchen, with effort to include more than the basics. We tend to continue to cook our own meals while on vacation, more-so than going out, so the kitchen is ready for either of your preferences!
