Beach bums will feel at home in this comfortable, immaculate, and best of all, whisper-quiet home on the Long island Sound. Mike & Stacie provide the ideal getaway that is everything they say and more. They are helpful and quick to respond to queries, including recommendations on the local cuisine. Definitely recommend.

Great location right by the beach. House is fantastic - better even than the photos. The kids had a blast and there was enough space for nap time while the rest of the family hung out downstairs. Very communicative hosts.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation weekend. It was an easy drive to Fairfield University. What a beautiful home! Clean, bright and welcoming. There was plenty of space in the house. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sun room with that gorgeous view of the Sound. The kitchen was very well-equipped.

What a wonderful stay we had at this amazingly beautiful house. The location was perfect with the beach just across the street as well as close to the church and reception for our Granddaughters wedding. We found it super clean and very well appointed with anything and everything we could possibly need during our stay. Our hosts were speedy with communication back and forth. Definitely glad we stayed there.

The spacious kitchen and living room made it easy for our family to spread out and be comfortable during what turned out to be a rainy long weekend. The house is clean and includes a lot of updated appliances and home goods.It is located right across the street from the beach and very close to a lovely paved path that runs along the coast. The hosts are very organized and good communicators. I would recommend this home to any family looking for a lot of space and a convenient location in Connecticut.

This house worked well for our large group. The sun room in front worked well for morning yoga, but we forgot our yoga mats so we just did a few sun salutations; so be aware, if you want to do yoga, bring your yoga mat! This property has exactly what you need for inside living, but it was lacking nice touches like extra blankets and living room thows. If you plan to come, bring your own beach towels and beach chairs, these are not supplied. We saw alot of toys for young kids as well as games and DVDs. There were televions in the family room, the master bedroom and the queen bedroom on the second floor. There also were 2 ovens in the kitchen, as well as a really nice refrigerator. The upstairs bathroom has both a walk in shower as well as a tub/shower combo, which is great for kids! Bring your own igniter for the stove and the BBQ the ones they had there were running low. BBQ was really greasy, but we luckily had experience BBQers with us! The location is right across the street from the water and the view is stunning! One drawback is that the driveway can only handle 2 cars. There is a pay parking lot across the street but it is expensive, so some of us emptied our cars and parked around the corner, it was inconvenient but it worked out. I thought all in all it was an 8 out of 10. Communication with the host was easy and much appreciated!

The house was beautiful and a perfect place for our family to be at while visiting our daughter who is a student at Yale. We saw the sunrise over the ocean from our bedroom window. Wish we found this sooner!

Lovely House by the Beach

This is our second time staying at Mike and Stacy's beach house in West Haven and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The property is lovely with a delightful backyard for a BBQ / fire pit, but the true delight is being just a stone's throw from the beach. All necessary accommodations were provided to ensure this was another delightful visit.
