Home was exactly as expected and had plenty of space for our large group in town for a wedding. I extra appreciated the baby-friendly rooms and toys, it made traveling with an infant and young toddler so much less stressful than normal.

Great Stay!

We were in New Haven for a Yale graduation and this home was a big win! We were only 12 minutes from campus and it was great to come back to a clean and spacious home to relax. The house is just as it’s pictured and Chris was excellent to rent from. We would definitely recommend for groups staying in New Haven!

Excellent experience. Chris was an awesome host: informative, responsive, and very pleasant to deal with. House is spacious, meticulous, and has all the amenities of a typical home. We were very comfortable with 5 adults and 2 children. Kids (7 & 9) loved the huge 3rd floor bedroom/playroom with oversized bunk beds and lots of toys. Close to I-95, Yale University, Tweed airport but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.

Family friendly home in New Haven area

My family stayed at the house fora reunion with our CT family. It was perfect for our needs. The house is large and is set up for large groups. Chris was very communicative before the check-in which help make for a smooth stay. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

This is the place to stay!

This house is incredible! It is both gorgeous and the perfect place to vacation/staycation/host friends and family at for local events. The amenities are above and beyond and you truly feel at home (if your home is a pristine and thoughtfully decorated). My friends and I are so happy we found this gem and are figuring out the next time we can find an excuse to get together here!

Amazing house

The house is located on a beautiful area near a natural reserve. Very green, with lots of birds and even deer sightings. Walking distance from the lighthouse and it’s beach. It has all you need and with great owner communication. We absolutely love our stay!

Fabulous home from home

We were visiting the area for a Wedding and this was a fabulous base for us to relax and unwind. The home was well stocked for hosting a large group and had everything we needed. Yale Football Family Reunion

This property was perfect for a multi-generational family reunion. The open and comfortable layout was ideal for group meals and after dinner games. The location is amazing. Walks to the Lighthouse was a daily occurrence and easy access to grocery stores. Very convenient to New Haven (5 miles) but quickly out of the 91/95 traffic. Chris is a great host. Had lots of great recommendations that made our stay comfortable and memorable.

Chris was an excellent host! He was so accommodating and senstive to our needs. His home is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what er needed to host a large Thanksgiving dinner. His house was the perfect place for my husbands family and my family to be under one roof and special memories were created there. I am forever greatful for Chris and his home and would like to book again when im hosting another gathering!

Dream house

The second we walked into Chris’ house we were collectively floored! This is a goals type of house! Huge, comfortable, and beautifully decorated! Chris was an amazing host, easily the most accommodating I’ve ever worked with! He was attentive to any question, had plenty of suggestions, and was super flexible! We enjoyed our stay and honestly wish we could have stayed longer! If we’re ever back on the New Haven area we would certainly stay again!

Wedding

We stayed the weekend for my daughters wedding at Anthonys Ocean View. The house is pristine, bright, cheerful, open and the views are amazing. The beds are so comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Perfect lighting and setting for pre-wedding pictures. We would have liked more closet space. Most closets were full and no hooks available to hang clothing. Otherwise, perfect plave for a wedding!

First time to CT

Chris’s property was spotless which was my #1 concern. The area was super quiet. The house was big and spacious. My one issue is we could never get the back door to lock besides the screen door. The listing needs to be updated as there are not two king beds and no firepit. Not a big deal to us but the beds could be to others. Shawna

We hosted our previous home in Wooster Square for years until we recently moved here. You couldn't ask for a better space to entertain than this! We are very excited to share our home and ideally I would like to rent to families or large groups coming in to New Haven for special weekends at Yale, including Alumni, Graduation weekend, and local Weddings. This property is located in a great area of New Haven that is close to the highway and just a few minutes to Yale University or Downtown. The house is located within walking distance to New Haven's own Light House Point Park which is known for its beautiful beach, historic lighthouse, and for hosting the most amazing summer weddings. Wedding venues Amarante's Sea Cliff and Anthony's Ocean View are both right down the street, making this the PRIME spot vs any hotel in the area. Connecticut famous beaches are only 15 minutes away. Best of both worlds, close to downtown and equally close to the shore. Entertain your friends and large family with an open floor plan and over 4,000 square feet of living space. Outdoor space nicely appointed for everyone's privacy and enjoyment.
