This was the perfect home base for our visit to Mt. Rainier national park. It’s exactly the vibe you want for being in the mountains. We loved the backyard and the hot tub. It was a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful little cabin. The hot tub was a fantastic way to relax after a long day of hiking, and the back yard/woods were absolutely beautiful. As others have mentioned this cabin isn’t as remote as pictures make it seem, there are neighbors flanking one side and a busy road on the other, but that wasn’t an issue for us! After being in some remote areas of Washington, it felt nice to be near “civilization” again. Despite being very near the entrance to the national park, there were still a few local restaurants and convenience stores nearby for necessities.

The check in process was easy, the kitchen was well stocked. WiFi was strong and the bed was clean and comfortable. The grounds were also wonderful. It was 5.3 miles away from the entrance of the park. I can’t wait to return and hope to be able to stay again!

My only complaint is that it’s hot and humid up in the bedroom. A small portable ac, dehumidifier or even just a fan would’ve helped a lot. It wasn’t intolerable though. The bed is pretty comfortable. The real selling point though is the back yard area. It’s very well done. It’s so cute with the lights, hot tub and fire pit area. There was a burn ban and I really appreciated that the host provided a gas fire pit so we could still enjoy the area. It was lovely, romantic and relaxing.

I had a lovely getaway to Nisqually Nest! The cabin was a perfect size for 1-2 people, there was plenty of cookware to use in the kitchen, and, of course, the hot tub, sauna, and fire pit were amazing. Having wifi was also a treat! The only drawback I can think of was that there was a bit more road noise than I was expecting. Still, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice private place to stay near Rainier, and I would love to visit again!
