Property is in a great location. Easy access to the park. The place is super cute and cozy. Bedroom is in loft up tiny steep stairs. I chose to sleep on couch. Kitchen is nice and new bathroom is beautiful. No wood at location as shown in picture. Overall because of location I would stay here again. Also, laundry is 15 miles away (not nearby).
We really enjoyed our two night stay at the cabin! Tastefully decorated and classy, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this cabin! Thank you!
Cozy, clean, conveniently located. Great place to stay while hiking, plus good food in the area if you don’t want to cook. Would recommend this to friends and family and would definitely stay here again!

Weekend staycation
The cabin is beautiful, but we were a little disappointed with the location of the cabin. From the listing it seemed like it would be more secluded. The cabin is in a neighborhood with a bunch of cabins around it. It was quiet, and peaceful. It's a short walk to the river. Cabin was comfy and cozy but the wifi was very slow. The iron smell of the water was a little unpleasant. The stairs are are very steep and maybe difficult to navigate for others. But overall a nice experience.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It's just a few minutes from the Rainer entrance, was clean and had great communication with the host. Backyard was a great plus, with the river right behind. Would definitely recommend.
This cabin was a great little getaway with easy access to Mt Rainer and other fun finds around the area. It was super cozy and well kept, and the property owners were great! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
Hubby and i enjoyed our weekend stay to celebrate our anniversary. Cabin is compact but cozy and well situated.
We didn't get to use the fire pit due to a burn ban but it's a fantastic space. Definitely not a place for people with mobility issues but we loved it. Would absolutely stay again.
If you and a partner are in the area to visit Mount Rainer, I highly recommend this cabin. It perfectly suited our needs to be close to Paradise entrance and just an hour and half drive to Sunrise. Super clean, homey, and perfect for a couple.

Great location and a cure little place to stay. Cameras at the front porch and back area felt too intrusive, there's a way to point the camera to the parking area only so guests sitting on a porch are not in the camera view. Also, only 2 towels were provided what is not enough even for 2 guests for 2 nights.

Chilly but cute
Cute place but in February it was pretty chilly. Bring your own firewood for the stove. They do not provide wood.

A frame
This property looks just like pictures inside and is very nicely decorated. It is close and convenient to the Nisqually park entrance and not far from Paradise area. The area is not as private as it looks in pictures as there are other cabins and homes nearby / right out front, however it is generally quiet.
Inside there are several issues- water pressure is poor and taking a shower must be quick, the bathroom sink is cute but the tiniest I’ve ever seen (though necessary given the space), most burners on the stove don’t work, the WiFi is slow/ didn’t even try the TV, there are no ice cube trays and fridge / freezer space is limited, there are 2 bath towels in the cabin but they are difficult to find. Keep in mind also that you must climb narrow stairs to the loft to the bed area.
Im so glad I didn't listen to the 2-star review. This place is amazing. The bed is so comfy, and we had everything we needed. My husband and I both fit in the shower just fine, so not sure why someone said the shower was small. We brought our own wood and used the woodstove both days. Yes, you are in a small neighborhood but we didn't see another soul. The river is absolutely gorgeous and we got a couple of inches of snow on both days. I highly recommend the Ukranian cafe around the corner, the peach cookie, and the Borscht is to die for! We will be back!
This is the second time we have stayed here, and we really enjoyed this stay, and look forward to another trip back. The cabin is clean and comfortable, close to Ashford for a few restaurants when wanted. The wife and I had a great time playing games and hanging out.
The one thing that would be nice is if the door on the fireplace is repaired/adjusted so that it actually seals up when closed. This would allow users to actually control the heat with the damper, as it is now the damper has no effect because of how much air is coming in through the stove door. Last the shower drain seemed partially plugged while we were there, shower base would fill quickly.
Great base camp for Paradise corridor exploring and beyond
I used this quiet little cabin exactly as stated in the title. It was quaint, clean, & comfortable. You're within 4 miles of the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, 2-3 miles from some good eateries, and Ashton (which is the only place convenient to buy groceries/supplies). I enjoyed getting out early to hike, but it was equally as enjoyable to have a little hermitage for me to return to for more relaxation. I loved kicking up my feet on the chaise lounge sofa after a shower, reading a little, and downloading pictures from daily excursions (decent wifi, btw). I was able to fix supper some evenings (with most kitchen amenities provided), but also took advantage of being so close to the Copper Creek Restaurant (excellent food and blackberry pie). I had a full sized coffee pot to make coffee each morning, which is huge when you wake up at 5:00 (or earlier depending on the hike one wishes to take) and nothing is open yet. The bed is located in the loft area, accessed by some steep steps, but if you're in the area to hike, no big deal, right? The shower I mentioned was surprisingly nice, big shower head, spacious (weird adjective to describe a shower, I know), but the sink is tiny. I just used the kitchen sink usually. My one complaint was that I had no towels (aside from 2 hand towels), so ended up purchasing a camp towel in the hiking/gear shop in Ashton. Other than that, all was great. You could hear the river running behind the property, cute fire pit in the rear as well.
My wife and I enjoyed two nights in Ashford while visiting the surrounding area. The home was perfect to come back to after a long day and relax somewhere comforting and homey. It was clean and well maintained, despite being rustic (as advertised). It seemed the owners had thought of everything, including a small print out with information about the home and things in the area. There are some aspects others might hold against it—bad cell service, slow WiFi, well water—but to me, it was exactly what one would expect while staying in the mountains. I loved my time here and would recommend anyone else stay as well.
If you're looking to get away from it all for a weekend and you enjoy the splendor of the Mt. Rainier area, this is your place to go to. Hosts were very responsive and left some nice snacks for us. If you are looking for a speedy wi-fi connection, please note that while there is wi-fi it is slower, but why are you going online when you are in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas in the country anyway? I rented this cabin five years ago and am looking forward to returning soon. I highly recommend this jewel in the woods.
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was everything we wanted. Quiet and private. The foliage was beautiful and the directions spectacular. We would absolutely recommend to other couples.
The cabin is perfect for a couple people looking for a weekend getaway. It was cozy and had everything we needed. If you like hiking there's a bunch of amazing trails nearby.
