The house was perfect. We went for a few relaxing days and got that exactly. Although it is in the city, it was a bit quieter than expected. Always a plus!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home on Benefit Street. It has wonderful character and charm, along with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The home was clean, inviting, and a great place to relax, with a lovely private garden patio. The hosts were very welcoming, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
This home is beautiful, a historic home that has been lovingly restored. It served as home base for my daughter’s wedding, and the grounds made for amazing photos, and beautiful moments for our family. The hosts were very communicative, and made us feel very welcome! Definitely recommend!
Beautiful historical home in a great location. Clean and comfortable. Bedrooms are a nice size and water pressure in the showers is just amazing. Lovely home and we would highly recommend.
We loved the convenient parking and appreciated the proximity to Brown University for family weekend. This accomodated our family perfectly. Lovely garden and owners were great to work with!
Elegant property in a keystone neighborhood of Providence. Perfect location within walkable distance for college touring, city exploration and expansive dining options.
Wonderful property wonderful amenities. Great host that explain everything super well. Can’t recommend this place enough to all. We loved it and will be back if they’ll have us.
We went for our daughters Graduation from Brown and had a great stay at Alice and Matthews house🌺 The Location is great. The house is even nicer ….

This house was above and beyond what I expected. Perfect location within walking distance to the river, restaurants and downtown. Hosts were attentive and we had everything we needed.
We stayed for two weeks while my daughter attended a program at Brown. Location is amazing, owners very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again. AC works so well (we had some warm weather in July)!
We had a lovely week long stay at this home on Benefit Street. The house was stocked with everything that we needed. The location was perfect for walking to downtown or exploring the hills around Brown University. We enjoyed all the quarks and character of the house. Would highly recommend.
This is a beautiful home in a fabulous location in Providence. The owners were easy to communicate with and super accommodating. We enjoyed both the inside and outside space. The views of downtown Providence were fantastic. The kitchen was well appointed and it was easy to find areas where we could all work when necessary during our stay. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants, Whole Foods and all the fun spots in Providence while still staying in a quiet, relaxing location.
We stayed at the property for our daughter's graduation weekend from Brown. Everything about the house was perfect. We especially enjoyed the beautiful deck off the kitchen. The hosts couldn't have been nicer. If we have an occasion to visit Providence in the future, we would love to stay again.
Alice and Matthew’s home is absolutely incredible and we loved our stay. We were a family of 7, with 2 kids and 5 adults, and it had something for everyone. The hosts were great at communicating before and during our stay, resolving anything that came up within minutes. They even made sure we were comfortable with the house layout (steep stairs and connected bedrooms on the top floor) before booking given the ages of my parents who joined us.The kitchen had premium dishes, utensils, and pots/pans, and was fully stocked with anything we needed to cook Christmas brunch and dinner. The views of the Capitol are stunning, and we loved the charm of the house that was built more than 250 years ago (with nice updates). We’d stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend that you do as well!
We really enjoyed our stay at Alice and Matthew’s beautiful home! This is a gorgeous, historic home with all the modern comforts. We spent a lot of time in the deck with its great views and in their lovely garden. Check in and check out super easy, College hill location was perfect, and Alice and Matthew were lovely to communicate with. Thanks again!
We stayed from March 31 to April 3rd. There were 5 of us. 2 of us in the Queen on the second floor, and the other 3 on the third floor in the queen, and the full beds. There is a full bath on all floors, including the basement. Be aware, there are stairs involved on this property. We were all delighted with the house! The place was immaculate. The back deck view is stunning, and the back patio areas, very private and comfortable. There is one off street parking that was perfect for our rental. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. We would stay here again without hesitation! Loved it. 😊
We were in town for our daughter's college graduation. This lovely home served us perfectly. The owners are very professional about the entire transaction, the historic home is updated and has an especially lovely master suite, amazing views of the downtown, and the master bed is comfortable. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
