Welcome to La Fleurie, the winemaker’s house—an elegant property built around 1820 in the charming medieval village of Mirepeisset. It is fully fenced with a gate that opens onto a gravel courtyard, providing parking for cars. The house, La Fleurie, was converted from the old barn. It is completely self-contained and features its own private pool (6 m x 3 m, with a removable safety fence) and an enclosed garden with a barbecue and lounge chairs for relaxing days or evenings.<br>The other cottage, Le Fitou, is attached to the main house.<br>Local markets, the Canal du Midi, the city of Carcassonne, and the town of Narbonne offer plenty of opportunities for outings.<br>The village of Gruissan, a 35-minute drive away, features beautiful beaches.<br>There’s a small restaurant 300 metres from the house, as well as a supermarket with fresh bread and pastries, open daily (supermarket 3 km away).<br>In the surrounding area, several restaurants invite you to sample regional specialities. Many winemakers will also be happy to introduce you to their wines.<br>The Béziers airport is 48 km away, and the Carcassonne airport is 59 km away. <br>Ground Floor Layout:<br>Spacious cathedral-ceiling living room/dining area/open kitchen with kettle, toaster, electric coffee maker, oven, microwave/dishwasher, washing machine, and refrigerator/freezer.<br>1 bedroom with 1 160-size bed, en suite bathroom, and adjoining toilet.<br> Ground floor:<br>2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, a shower room, and a toilet.<br>They are connected by a mezzanine walkway featuring the original stone wall.<br>Portable air conditioners are available upon request.<br>We also have a cot, high chair, and stair gate available for your use.
