Skyview Acres - This aptly named 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin located just 20 minutes from Main Street Cooperstown will not disappoint. You can check-in and remain onsite for your whole stay or easily access all that the Leatherstocking Region has to offer, Museums, Breweries, Wineries, Farmer's Markets, State Parks, Antiquing, Horseback Riding and more. Situated on 30+ acres of land overlooking the beautiful Butternut Valley and rolling hills of Central New York, there are views as far as the eye can see. Once on the grounds, you will have plenty of space for outdoor activities in the well maintained yard, play catch, throw a frisbee, whatever you'd like, just have fun! There is a small pond where you are welcome "catch, kiss and release" frogs and fish. If you are interested in more activity, Skyview Acres has a great trail system in its woods that leads to a bubbling brook and waterfall. A perfect spot to splash and cool off on a hot summer day.

Upon entering you will be immediately amazed by the natural light entering the great room through the floor to ceiling windows. This space is perfect for relaxing during your stay. Whether you kick back in a recliner and read or you sit with friends and family to enjoy a meal, you will enjoy all the great room has to offer. From the great room you can access the large wraparound deck with Adirondack furniture. The deck spans three sides of Skyview Acres assuring your enjoyment of either sunrise (if you are an early bird) or sunset. We have found that sunset is best enjoyed from the deck with one of the areas many great local beers or wines. You must check out one of our local "gems", Rustic Ridge Winery and High Burl Brewing, both just 10 minutes from Skyview Acres. While there, please be sure to say hello to Rick, and make sure to grab a pint of "Bossy Little Blonde!"

The local area has MANY great dining options, often with outdoor dining when the weather allows, but if you want to stay in you will feel right at home in this well designed gourmet kitchen. The granite counter tops, high end stainless steel appliance, and a dedicated ice maker will have you making incredible meals and cocktails throughout your stay. Feel free to cook outside on the deck with the gas grill, and enjoy your meal right there, or in the yard under the beautiful timber-framed pavilion. After you've cleaned up your feast, grab your marshmallows and graham crackers and head back down to the "Stonehenge" firepit. Here you will be able to enjoy a crackling bonfire and an evening full of stargazing. Be sure to turn your flashlights and headlamps off so your eyes can adjust to the incredible night sky.

After a night around the fire you will find two bedrooms located on the first floor, right off the kitchen, each with a Queen. Up the stairs built with incredible log balusters you will find the Master bedroom with a King sized bed and a great view from the window of the Master bathroom!

We all know that sometimes the weather in Upstate New York isn't always picture-perfect. If you get a rainy day, don't worry, the lower level is a terrific game room and hangout spot complete with air hockey and Foosball. There is a full bathroom with a shower and large laundry room are located on the lower level

If you are coming to this great area for one of the many summer baseball tournaments, Skyview Acres is convenient to "Cooperstown Dreams Park" , "Cooperstown All Star Village" and Doubleday Field.

If you are coming for winter fun, we are located on the New York State Snowmobile Trail system (NYSSA). You can ride right from the house and access hundreds of miles of club-maintained trails.

We like to enjoy our property as well throughout the year, and our ability to share it with you and others depends on our guests treating the home with the respect it deserves.
