2023: New Management. New paint and furnishings. Cabin4 has been updated w a new bathroom and furnishings in 2023.

Located in South Yarmouth. This is Cabin#4 at the Yarmouth Country Cabins, 864 Route 28, South Yarmouth, Cape Cod. The cabins are set on 10 acres of nature. This cabin shares an outdoor heated salt water pool, playground, games and walking trails. It is quick one mile to the beach on the ocean side of cape cod. Many restaurants are easy to walk. Bass River Sports World is a one block walk and offers mini golf, batting cages, bumper cars, arcade..so much more. The property is peaceful and nostalgic. It was built in 1939. This is family owned rental property and has hosted many families over the decades. We hope that yours will visit us soon. There are hammocks swaying over sandy knolls. Large beachsand playground and playhouse for the kids. Badmitton, ping pong, Bocci ball, Volleyball Sand Court, Bikes to borrow and nature trails to Swan Pond(now closed) Nightly bonfire for roasting marshmallows, picnic tables, bbq grills and tiki torches make the evenings fun.
The nearest beaches are Parker River Beach, Smuggler's Beach, and South Middle Beach are 1 mile away. Seagull Beach and West Dennis Beach are approx 2.5 mile away. Super Stop & Shop is less than 1 mile away. These cabins have hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, bathrooms, ac, screened porches, grills, pool, one mile to the ocean and beautiful nature all around you.

Summary of Cabin4: Cabin4 has a small screened porch w 2 chairs. The studio cabin has a sink counter w toaster and coffee pot, 30" tall refrigerator and microwave. There is a few dishes. There is no cooking in cabin4. There is a log queen bed, hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. Bedding included. There is a window ac. There is a small electric space heater under the sink cabinet. There is a small indoor bathroom w shower that is new in 2024. There is one parking space to the left of the cabin and a table w chairs. A grill can be moved to your cabin to use. There are several gas grills that are fixed for you to use. Maintenance is in cabin11. Laundry room is next to cabin20 w 3 steps up. In joy your time and Cape Cod.
A good pet(1) is welcome at YCC.

It was a great location. Right on Rte 28 but the park is very quiet. They were very friendly. The cabin was just as discribe. There was a lot of area to walk our dog. We recommend this location highly.

Country Cabin on the Cape

Terrific hosts, great location. If you are looking for a simple, clean, updated space and the joys of a minimalist lifestyle, this cabin is for you. Central location on the Cape makes it easy to see all the sites and have easy access to tons of dining and recreation options. Would recommend.

I loved my stay at Yarmouth Country Cabins. My cabin had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is great - near beaches, hiking, biking, shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Mini Vacation

The property was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. Quite a few activities and places to eat were in walking distance which was great! Very short drive to beaches and so close to other towns like Barnstable & Dennis to explore, we had a wonderful mini vacation.

Weekend Getaway

Yarmouth Country Cabins was in a great location- it was also quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of beaches nearby and great breakfast spots! I would highly recommend picking up breakfast sandwiches from the Lightkeeper's Pantry!

Good location in the cape to access many things! The property is quaint and cozy. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch to relax and be outside.

Our cape getaway

We looked for quite some time for a place to have a relaxing vacation. This was perfect. So much to do nearby. We also did multiple activities on the property. Very clean and had all we needed.

Great Stay!

Owner was great at communicating and even upgraded us to a larger cottage with an outdoor shower. The property was cute and has a fire pit and common areas to hang out. The location is on busy route 28 so it is difficult to turn out of the property and the property was difficult to find when driving by (need to look for the big bear statue, no signage). Overall very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Less than advertised

Cabin VERY small: No living room, no chairs, NO closets; no room cleaning in 2 weeks, clean bath towels NOT delivered ! BIGGEST COMPLAINT : cabin was INFESTED WITH LITTLE RED ANTS which were on bathroom sink, got into clothing, into laptop, on kitchen table and several counters.

New England Beach Vacation

This property is a nod to old New England vacationing. We appreciated meeting the owner on his daily stroll. I liked that the property had plenty of activities, and everything was within walking distance. We recently stayed at a quaint vacation rental cabin that offered a cozy studio space with a TV, and hotel room conveniences with a small bathroom. Although the cabin had no kitchen or heating, the cleaner gave us extra blankets. I imagined the air conditioning would make it comfortable in the summer. Pack like you are camping with beach access if you stay in unit 4. I wish there were a clothesline or clarity on where to hang things. The location was convenient, just a 5-minute drive to the beach, where we spent most of our days. We ate out every day. I wish the cabin had a bathroom door that extended the entire wall length. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite a few minor inconveniences. We plan to return in the future.

Yarmouth Country Cottages

The cabin was very clean and cozy, the communication with the management was very exceptional. Everything was as it was described. Check in and out was done completely online through VRBO. We were very happy with the rental and would recommend YCC to anyone.

A nice way to see the cape on a budget

The property is fantastic- clean, lots of activities. It was never too loud. Cabin 4 is verrrry small, but it had everything we needed. We did find out the hard way not to leave food on the counter- we had a little mouse visitor in the night, but it's an old cabin in the woods, so that's to be expected. Audrey was pleasant and easy to communicate with, and Sparky was a delight. The cabins are within walking distance of some great restaurants. I'd recommend 908 Bistro to anyone, and we had a great breakfast at The Pancake Man. We loved being close to the beach, and within an easy drive of all the best sights on Cape Cod. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Long weekend

It was a very easy process to book. The check in was even easier. Check out was a breeze. The property was well maintained. We had a bond fire each night. We where close to many attractions and in walking distance to shops and restaurants.
