Thank you for staying with us! We take pride in keeping our cabins clean and comfortable, and we’re so glad you enjoyed the location. Hope to have you back again!
cabin was super cute and clean! Loved that there was a full kitchen. Right up the road from Colton's Point and across the street from Pine Creek Outfitters. Loved the location. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. We will be back for sure!
The cabin was absolutely perfect. Location is central to all outdoor activities. The cabin was spotless and even better in person. The porch was an added bonus for stargazing.. I couldn't have asked for a better stay! I will definitely book with this property again.

Thank you so much! Very excited you were able to enjoy the warm days.
My husband and two kids (2 and under) stayed 3 nights. We drove 4.5 hours away from the city to stay here but being on the main road it felt and sounded like we never left the city. It doesn’t get very quiet at night. It wasn’t very cozy outside to have a fire with the main road there and staring at the cabins all near by. There isn’t much ground to walk around if you want to stay at the cabin. Unfortunately for us, the Grand Canyon main viewing point was closed and will be until September so we drove to the other side of the canyon but it was crowded and a marathon was going on at the same time. The camper ground that these cabins are associated with had a festival going on so we couldn’t drive over there to swim in the best swimming holes unless we paid $40 which I found really ridiculous. I really think these cabins are just for people passing through and need a place to crash for a night.
The cabin itself is gorgeous and it was very clean with an exception to the couch. The couch was nasty and I was afraid to sit on it.
I wouldn’t stay at these cabins but if I could offer a suggestion, I would say for the owner to plant lots of trees around the cabins to give it a more cabin feeling around and to block some sound from the road.

Thank you for your review. I would like to add some insight to some of your comments. To start, we have a pretty great cleaning team that cleans with the same protocol each time. This includes spraying the couch with disinfectant, unfolding the couch, and vacuuming the mattress area as well as the cushions, with replacement of the mattress protector if needed. There are always clean linens stocked in the closet along with extra pillows and a blanket for the sleeper sofa use. After cleaning, the cabins are inspected by a senior member and then inspected again when I change the cabin code. Upon inspection your cabin was in good shape. As instructed in your welcome binder you are encouraged to call the office if something doesn't fit your needs or isn't up to standards. I did not hear from you until you asked about using the creek access at the campground on Saturday, and you did not mention anything in relation to the couch. I did tell you that although we typically allow visitors to use the creek access, we were hosting a charitable event that weekend which required everyone on the premises to purchase a ticket as all ticket sales were donated directly to the charity. You were in turn offered another swimming area closer to your cabin, at Darling Run, to enjoy the public access of Pine Creek, which is actually a deeper swimming hole and less current. A great option for someone with smaller children. Most that stay at the cabin use it as a hub for adventure activities as it's located centrally to stargazing, rafting, hiking, biking, etc. As evidenced by Google Maps we are directly located on Rte 6 for convenience. As much as we would love to see less traffic, construction projects that were put on hold due to the pandemic are now in full swing which has increased large truck traffic. Leonard Harrison State Park announced its closure in the spring with the suggestion to use Colton Point State Park instead. This was posted by the state park in multiple media areas, but for future vacation planning Visit Potter Tioga has up to date information and suggestions for everything in the dual county area. They would also have events such as the marathon listed on their calendar so you would be able to plan accordingly. Again, thank you for staying with us and well wishes.
Beautiful area for hiking, biking, camping, or just enjoying nature. We also spent time in Wellsboro for the quaint small town hospitality feel. Close to shops and things to do, but also offers space to get away from the world. ❤️
Everything about this cabin was comfortable and efficient. Perfect for hiking the pa grand canyon. Very comfortable bed and couch too. Easy to cook meals and rest after a day of hiking. I didn't think I would like being near a main road and other cabins but I really didn't hear any road noise or other neighboring guests.

Adequate
When we first arrived we could not get in, the keypad did not work, the owner helped us right away, but he did charge us for a pillow, pillow sheet and allergen cover that we did not have or take

I apologize for the keypad as they sometimes have issues and yes, we were there upon request to help you with your entry. The morning prior to your arrival all pillows and covers were accounted for, when cleaning after your departure, same day, there was a missing pillow. This was deducted from your deposit for a minimal fee. There was no entry from any other persons between your departure and the cleaning.
Enjoyed our short stay at the Cabin.
Check in was convenient, they left the porch light on for us!
Cabin was neat and clean and had everything we needed.
Wanted to spend a short stay in a cozy cabin and enjoy the natural beauties of Autumn. Unfortunately this year the leaves were not changed at all but we still enjoyed good level hikes and great scenery. Would have liked more info regarding restaurants and hours of operation due to covid. Overall, quaint little town with nice people.

Thank you very much. It's been a difficult year with our restaurants due to COVID. They're trying to keep consistent hours.
Loved the cabin and the area. Very clean, comfortable, perfect size. We will definitely come back. I only wish we could have brought our little dog, she missed us.

Great Little Place - Some unexpected hiccups
The cabin was exactly what we wanted. Our own little place without a lobby away from other people. The cabin was clean. The stars at night were wonderful, comparable to the New Mexico skies.
We did not give it a perfect rating because of some expectations that were not met and the high security deposit.
We are not big TV watchers but when we travel we like to unwind with some classic shows on cable TV. It was disappointing to find that there was not cable TV as indicated in the property amenities.
The other misleading item was the lack of a dishwasher. Hotels.com did not list this but the contact from the owner referenced it several times about running the dishwasher. It was a surprise that we did not have one.
If you would like to cook, you will have a minimally fully stocked kitchen with cast iron.
If you light having light to read, the cabin is very dark and does not have any high wattage light bulbs.
I would recommend to the owners to put directions on the A/C. The remote did not work as expected.
Finally, I did receive a past due invoice to pay. I emailed and was told because I booked through Hotels.com that their system did not process it properly. If I did not contact them I could have paid a few hundred dollars more. Not good.
In conclusion, the communication was great. The cabin great. Just some unexpected hiccups.
Cabin as pictured, good location, easy check in-out. Could use some lawn maintenance especially before a holiday weekend when all cabins are rented but other than that enjoyed the trip and look forward for future bookings
