Stroll on the beaches or on the harbour, bathing or fishing sides… Let yourself be carried by the call of the sea or stroll around the alleys, between casino, villas, palaces and hotels… All the charm of a relaxing and lively seaside resort. Trouville is the authenticity of the first hours of the Belle Epoque, the first seaside resort celebrated by artists, from Flaubert to Boudin. Others, like Dumas, Corot and Monet followed the same path to be inspired by this atmosphere. Trouville is also fishing for grey shrimp, mackerel, scallops and sole. Won over by the euphoria of the sea baths as Deauville its neighbor, the city of the Viking Thorulfr (which gave its name to the city), has not renounced its traditions: witness the classification at the Historical Monuments since 1992 of the fish market, symbol of a history resolutely turned towards the sea.
